LLLC: My Anchor

I’ve also made a card where I have used only the stamps provided with the My Anchor background stamp set from the NEW RELEASE at La-La Land Crafts. The big background stamp has been stamped with embossing ink onto light blue card stock and then I’ve used clear embossing powder on it. I have then stamped on the smaller fish with two different shades of blue before stamping the anchor onto the card base also and coloured it in with a few copics.

The embossed borders and the card base have been separated by the ropes die, and I’ve added some pink fish dies for a bit of contrast. The sentiment is also from this background stamp set.

LLLC: Funky Squares

Ok, I admit it, I’ve used my favourite colours a lot for this NEW RELEASE at La-La Land Crafts. Soooo, it is time to bring in the other colours, I think. How about… a rainbow?!

Here I have used both of the stencils that were included in the set at the same time. I simply used some masking tape to tape them onto the card base so they wouldn’t move around too much. I then used various different distress ink colours going from a red and all through the rainbow over to purple.

To make Summer Dress Molli match (with what I think is a super cool background!) I gave her a two-tone dress going from purple to yellow highlights. To keep with the funky squares theme I used the fishing net die as well. And to add a bit more of the purple and yellow, I decided to make the banners in those colours in bright shades.

LLLC: Jaws Because

La-La Land CraftsNEW RELEASE is great! And I’m not just saying that because I’m on the team! I have loved working with all the products and making loads of very different cards. There are just so many possibilities and it doesn’t get any better than that, right?!

I’ve used the Seas the Day background stamp to make the background inside the shaker area look like waves in a pale blue colour. Then I’ve glued some coloured in fish on top of that before I’ve added some die cut fish and sequins to make a shaker card. The frame is by using the scalloped rectangles and cutting out the middle part by hand. On top of that I’ve added some of the bigger sea animals from the Jaws Because clear stamp set and used two of the sentiment stamps on the side.

Clean and Simple shaker card… I think I’ll do more as I really quite like this one!

Here is a photo of the card laying flat. You can see all the fish and sequins inside the shaker area.
