My easter buddy

Easter is around the corner. I only just realised this when I opened the fridge yesterday and saw the “easter mystery” cartoon on the milk carton. Don’t ask, lol. Anyway, as I have next to no time before I go away for two weeks tomorrow, I had a spur of inspiration and made a card this morning. Why do I always feel most inspired when I have the least time to craft? Maybe it’s because it looks like I won’t get much else done today as I’m feeling rather unwell. Oh well, the card did get done!

I have used a giant scalopped circle to make the base of the card. I’ve used some plain green card stock and some patterned paper from First Edition paper to go with. I have used a pre coloured Sylvia Zet image from The Hobby House. Isn’t it adorable? The stamped sentiment is from Lili of the Valley, the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts, the ribbon is from a local shop and I have used a fair bit of distress ink.

Happy Easter everybody!

The card has been entered into the following challenges:

Scrap’a’long – Påskeliljer / gule blomster
Incy Wincy Designs – Shaped card
Scrappin all over – Påske
Party Time Tuesdays – Colour inspiration
Bearly-Mine – Anything goes
Creatalicious – Lovely Easter

I’m honoured to have received a top 3 spot at Incy Wincy Design and I won a prize at Party Time Tuesdays for this card. Thank you!

The prize I won at Party Time Tuesdays was a gift certificate to The Paper Shelter. How exciting! So many adorable images, I will probably take forever to choose something!
