Heffy Doodle Unicorns

This month I have the honour of showing you a couple of cards I’ve made for Heffy Doodle as a guest designer. First up is a card filled with unicorns and a rainbow. I chose to use all of the unicorns from the Fluffy Puffy Unicorns stamp set and coloured them up with my Copic markers. I decided to cut them all out by hand, but you can obviously save time by using the coordinating die.

To make the card I started out by using the stripy blue background from the Spring Breeze paper pad and then I die cut a white panel using one of the frame dies from the Deckled Paper Hugs die set. I die cut several circles to make a rainbow in various plain card stock colours. The unicorns were then placed on top, using foam tape, in rainbow colours from left to right.

The sentiment is from the Little Label Stamps set and I then put some sequins around it from the Sugar Plum Sparkle mix.

Spellbinders Fresh Picked Buttercups.

Today I’ve used one of the new flowers from the Fresh Picked Collection (this and all following links are affiliate links) by Spellbinders, these are the Fresh Picked Buttercups. I opted for three different pinks to go with the bright green leaves.

I used one of the arches from the Make a Wish Arch Labels dies set on top of a plain white card base. And then I placed the die cut flowers around the left and top edge of the arch.

Once again, I used one of the Sealed Sentiments and stamped it up in a matching colour. Then I put some enamel dots on as well.

POD Love, Brownie Bear

I have another pencil colouring made into a card today. Meet Love, Brownie Bear by Purple Onion Designs. It’s another great illustration by Pei. Stuck with more of a texture on the bear this time and I absolutely love that he’s a bumble bear! The sentiment is from the Love Sentiment set.

PFS Hooray

Another fun birthday card today made with the new Picket Fence Studios (this and all following links are affiliate links) release. I made the background using the new Birthday Dance Confetti background stamp. I think used the same Catherine Pooler inks to ink up a panel which I die cut using the new Hooray word die. This was die cut a few times and layered for dimension. The sentiment is from Animal Crackers A Little Note. A few sequins from the Karma embellishment jar finished off the card.

POD Lucky Flappy

There is a new mini release over at Purple Onion Designs featuring the awesome Pei. I’ve dusted off my pencils for a couple of these and first out we have Flappy’s Lucky Day. My Prismacolor Pencils were loving these cute animals. I then die cut out the panel and used a background paper behind it and a few fun gems. Be sure to check out this fun new collection of rubber stamps!

Let’s have another photo as well:
