World Cardmaking Day

It is world cardmaking day today so I wanted to make a card for that very reason. It’s a pretty simple card, without colouring, in white with a dash of purple. I’ve done what I enjoy about cardmaking for this card (apart from the whole no colouring part of it). I’ve used loads of brands, I’ve been inspired by another crafter (Norine Borys, @norinehope on Instagram) and it’s about friendship.

The embossing folder is by CraftWell, the dies by Simon Says Stamp, the sentiment by GinaK Design, card stock by Papertrey Ink and My Favorite Things and the inks are by My Favorite Things and GinaK Design.

LH Snowman with penguin

I have made yet another card for Lee Holland’s august sale. This time I’ve coloured up Snowman and Penguin. The stamp is coloured up using Copic Markers as per usual and I’ve gone with a darker sky and gave it a hard edge against the white coloured card stock.

The coloured panel has been die cut using one of MFT Stamps rectangle dies and I’ve added some Memory Box snowflakes around the edges. A swirly God Jul sentiment sits nicely across the bottom with some semi-transparent sequins around it.

Through August (2021) Lee Holland is having a promotion of 30% off if you buy 3 or more stamps. Or if you fancy the entire Ultimate Christmas bundle and Christmas Dragon bundle use the code CHRISTMAS60 to get 60% off!

RAM Mummy Bunny

Today I have new card made for the Rachelle Anne Miller DT. The stamp I chose for my card this time is called Mummy Bunny and I think it’s super adorable! I printed the digital stamp out in faint lines to do a no-line version and added a funny shaped sky background and a few extra hearts to keep the card itself simple. All I added was a simple word die in a matching colour as well as a pale coloured cardstock to frame it all.

RAM Majestic Tree

For my second projects for the Rachelle Anne Miller design team this month I’ve opted to make a Christmas card! The stamp of my choice this time is called Majestic Tree (aff. link). I’ve coloured it all up with Copic Marker, used a die cut sentiment by Papirdesign and a stamped sentiment by Mathia Design. A few matching sequins and blue cardstock was my accent colour of choice today.

Saying hi with flowers

I’ve coloured up one of Emily Midgett’s colouring panels. A dash of yellow for the flowers and a bright yellow background. The only decorations are a few transparent sequins and a die cut sentiment. The sentiment is actually the hello die by Altenew (aff.link) which I cut into a Norwegian equivalent. I admit it worked a lot better than I had thought and it doesn’t look like it’s been cut, I think. Love it when you can use a die like that!
