PFS Budding Roses

It’s time for another card! But first off I’d like to mention the GREAT sale that is going on at Picket Fence Studios at the moment. 25% off everything lasts through today. Pop over to their homepage (this and following links are affiliate links) to start browsing your favourites! (Don’t forget to look at the tools section, Paper Pouncers and the free gifts!)

I’m back today with another throw back. This time I’ve coloured up the Budding Roses. Once again I’ve turned to pencils, mostly because I got some new ones that I wanted to try. I love the deep purple against the kraft card, don’t you?

I’ve used sequins from the Peacock Tails mix. The hello die comes with the Double Stitched Layering Rectangle Dies and the embossed sentiment is from the Tweet Tweet Friends set.

Here is another photo of the card

PFS Early Tulip Bouquet colouring video

I have made my first post for the Picket Fence Studio blog today and because of that I’ve made a new colouring video! In the video I am colouring up Early Tulip Bouquet (this and following links are affiliate links). To make the flowers really pop I’ve used kraft paper and my Prismacolor Pencils, as usual.

I have used the following Prismacolor Premier pencils:
Yellow: 914, 916, 1011, 1002
Orange: 1003, 118, 922
Pink: 928, 929, 1030, 937
Green: 989, 912, 109

Here is the finished card I made using said colouring. I’ve also used combined the Slim Line Oversized Hello word die with a plain text sentiment from the Animal Crackers You Deserve to be Spoilt set. The cut out the die five times and glued them together for dimension and used foam tape for the plain text sentiment. To finish it all off I used three sequins from the Vintage Bulbs sequin mix.

I hope you enjoyed the video and I wish you all a great week. Happy Monday!

Saying hi with flowers

I’ve coloured up one of Emily Midgett’s colouring panels. A dash of yellow for the flowers and a bright yellow background. The only decorations are a few transparent sequins and a die cut sentiment. The sentiment is actually the hello die by Altenew (aff.link) which I cut into a Norwegian equivalent. I admit it worked a lot better than I had thought and it doesn’t look like it’s been cut, I think. Love it when you can use a die like that!

LotV Cupcake Teddy

More bright pink for today’s card. I’ve used one of the newest Lili of the Valley stamps, the teddy bear with the cupcake. It’s available as a digital stamp in their online shop.

The card is simple where the card base (from MFT Stamps) is matching the frosting and the background paper (also MFT Stamps) is matching the coloured image as well. A simple embossed Norwegian sentiment (Mathia Design) and a few matching enamel dots finished off the card this time.

RAM Halloween Moon

I am back with a new project for Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios using Halloween Moon. I tried something new this time and coloured the stamp up to look like the light comes from the moon on the other side of the little witch and bear. I coloured in the whole background and opted for darker colours than usual. It was quite fun! The line on the top and the bottom of the colouring are both hand drawn to keep with the whimsical look. A straight proper line just wouldn’t fit with the look!

The card base is card stock from MFT Stamp and I used a sentiment stamp from La-La Land Crafts stamped with Altenew ink.
