Rowan Fairy

Friday this week was the 15th of the month and that means it was time for a new challenge at Copic Marker Norge. This time we’d like you to do Red, but not Christmas.

I’ve coloured in this adorable little fairy by Sylvia Zet, using copics. She is called Rowan Fairy. The colours I used can be found below the image. I used papers from Papermania, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Live and Love Crafts and ribbon from a local shop as well as some Candy from Craftwork Cards.

Some of the papers are by Lili of the Valley. They’ve all been painted around the edges. Butterflies are from Noor Design, the flowers and deep red ribbon are by Wild Orchid Crafts and the lace is from Live and Love Crafts. The card base shape is made with dies by Go Kreate.

Special friendships

Here is a card I made this spring for the friendship card swap at Kit and Clowder, but I’ve only just now gotten around to adding it to the blog. There are far too many cards waiting to be posted, but I’ll try to put them up every few days now to get caught up a bit! For the card swap I sent this card as a blank one, with some motivational short quotes on the paper inside, as well as another CAS card which I wrote in and some goodies as well. Everyone loves goodies, right?!

This one is made using a Sugar Nellie image coloured in with copics. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the sentiment is by Lili of the Valley and the dies are by Noor Design.

Special friendships

I’ve just had a short leave from work as my summer holidays and the time passed by much too quick! I had planned to get several images coloured up and cards made and I haven’t even looked at my crafting stuff! I could use another holiday already! The weather this summer has been wet and cold compared to last year, so when we’ve had a little bit of sunshine I’ve hardly wanted to spend that time indoors!

Here is a card I made a few months ago, which I never got around to posting. It is quite a lot simpler than my usual, without being entirely CAS. I love it though. The image is by Sugar Nellie (first time I’ve used one of theirs) and is coloured in with copics. The other supplies are mostly from a local store this time!

Winter fairy

I have finally started properly on Alyce’s Skin and Hair class over at Kit and Clowder. Let me just say the classes are wonderful. I am so much happier with my colouring and it is so much more fun making cards with images I have coloured myself now. I might even have to get rid of most of the pre-coloured toppers I’ve got!

Today I have decided to put up a card I made today. That is the second time in a short while I’ve been so eager to put up what I’ve coloured that I’ve taken a photo and added it to the blog straight away! Funnily enough, the previous one was also a blue winter card… Any guess what I love making most… lol.

I have used a Wee Stamps image, by Sylvia Zet, called Iris. I have coloured her in with copics with various B00s, Cs, E40s and E00s. The doily is from Papermania, the brown paper is from Tim Holtz, as are the snowflake die and the blue distress ink. The lace is from a local shop and the ribbon from a site where I ordered a dress.. The blue paper is from Papirdesign and the flowers are, as always, from Wild Orchid Crafts. I also added some dark blue glitter to the frantage.
