Whimsy Autumn Swing

There is a new digital release at Whimsy Stamps again and this time I’ve used Autumn Swing. I coloured up a little scene for her rather quickly, but it gave the effect I wanted. Proper autumn colours were needed for this card and what is better than a big tree to swing from?

Copics used: BV23, BV25, BV29, E00, E02, E13, E15, E31, E35, E37, E39, E29, YG63, YG67, G21, G43, G46, R32, R35, R37, R59, YR04, YR09, YR15, Y13, Y17, N0, N3

Wryn’s Leaves

It is time for a new challenge at Tiddly Inks! And as autumn is well on its way here and the leaves are turning all over the place and filling up the lawn, the challenge theme is quite appropriate! Fall colours!

I picked the awesome Wryn’s Leaves, which I coloured in with copics. It was quite fun to colour, although I made the actual drawn in leaves disappear somewhat..

What does an autumn card need? Leaves! Lots of leaves! So I went crazy with my Martha Stewart punchers and Noor Design dies and put leaves everywhere! All the layers are on foam stickers so that the leaves really are poking out everywhere! I used papers from Maja Design, Memory Box and Lili of the Valley and lots of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The swirly thing-a-ma-bobs are from Kort & Godt.

Let’s have a close up! It’s been a while since I did any of them.

Autumn colours

Last month I was asked if I’d like to be a guest designer at Barnemix. Of course I’d like to! The image I got to work with, Madeleine with her Chic Coat, is by Milk Coffee which I thought fit the theme Autumn and Cold perfectly. It is the first time I’ve been given both the image and theme together, so it was a new type of challenge for me! I decided to pick every bit of autumn colour I can think of, which in fact are reasonably warm colours! Oh well!

Everything is coloured in with copics. The flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts and Live and Love Crafts. Most of the leaves are made with Martha Stewart punchers and one using a Noor Designs Die. The background papers are by Papermania, which I distressed in various colours for an even more autumnal feel!

Autumnal

Time for another one I have coloured myself. An autumn one. We are mid-autumn here at the moment and it is so pretty and colourful outside. I think I have to go for a walk just to take photos of it one day next week. But yes, anyway, card.

The image I have coloured is an Elisabeth Bell one from the colouring pads at The Hobby House. I coloured it in with copics. I have used plain stock card for the corners and the brown paper is by Tim Holtz, and I don’t remember where the purple one is from. The flowers and ribbon are by Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is by Kort og Godt. I have also used various dies and punches: Dienamics, Martha Stewart and QuicKutz. Ok, it’s not quite that untidy and hard to find things, but you get the gist, haha. The jeweled butterfly is purchased at a local shop.
