RAM flower love birds

It’s time for another DT project using the lovely digital images by Rachelle Anne Miller. For today’s project, Rachelle herself got to pick what stamp I was to use. The stamp she picked is called Flower Love Birds. It isn’t really the type I would have chosen myself, but I love a good challenge so I’ve made two cards with it. To keep the cards similar I’ve used the same markers and kept both cards simple.

For the first one I’ve used the stamp as is.

For card number two I’ve rearranged the flowers and used a few of them more than one.

Here both cards are together.

Polkadoodles – Serenity Fairy princess

There is a new Polkadoodles release today with new clear stamps. I have coloured up this adorable Serenity – Fairy Princess stamp and drew in a little background scene around her to give it a proper spring feeling. What is great is that it works for any season really, so you can use it however you like. The black lines of the hill is drawn in using a Copic Multiliner and I opted for keeping the clouds in a more no-line look. It was fun to use brighter and lighter colours than I normally use as well.

Bright pink cardstock for the card base and a simple sentiment with some enamel dots around was all I needed to finish off the card.

Here is another photo for you.

Whimsy Chit Chat

A new month also means it’s time for a new digital release at Whimsy Stamps. Of course I’ve made a card for this! I’ve used a stamp called Bunny Chit Chat. I coloured in a background and added a chipboard with the word smile. I’ll back with a new card in a few days to show another one of the new stamps.

LOTV Spring bunny

I was having fun colouring up a few of the stamps from the early spring release at Lili of the Valley while I was on maternity leave. Recently I’ve got all of my crafting space set up after our move earlier this year and that means I’ve been able to make them into cards! Here is one of them.

The sentiment is also by Lili of the Valley and the dies are by La-La Land Crafts.

Copics used: (bunny) W0, W1, W3, W5, C0, C1, C3, (pink) R30, R32, (sky) B91, (green) G21, G82, G94, Y13, YG01, YG13, YG63

LotV Sunny Thoughts

Guess what?! I’ve gotten a spot on the Lili of the Valley design team! In December they had a DT call and even though it was a terrible time for me to sign up for a new DT I simply had to apply. LotV is one of the first stamp companies I bought and I have loads of their rubber stamps from a few years back. My card making sort of started with these and I’ve continued to use their stamps since, so yeah, it was a big deal for me! And they were super kind and let me start a bit later due to everything that was going to happen at the start of the year.

The first card I’m going to show you as a DT is a card I made for a card swap they were hosting. I used one of the stamps from their newest release. You can find it both on a A5 rubber stamp sheet as well as a digital stamp. The sentiment is also LotV.

I’ve used a La-La Land Crafts heart die, heart and frame chipboard I’ve had forever, some Maja Design paper and various ribbon, lace and cheese cloth.

Copics used: (watering can) N0, N1, N3, N5, (flowers) RV52, RV55, RV09, Y19, V15, V17, (bear) E41, E42, E43, (grass and leaves) G03, G28, YG61, YG63, YG97, G21, G82, G40
