Merry Tiddly Christmas

I’ve coloured up one of my favourite Tiddly Inks images for this card. I’ve done a no-line version to make her hair look blonde. The card is a red and white version, keeping other colours to a minimum. The coloured image has been cut out by hand and put on foam tape to be raised up from the card.

The snowy background frame is my Mama Elephant and I’ve used a Lawn Fawn sentiment die (in a few layers glued together) with a Simon Says Stamp premade white on black sentiment. A few red sequins from Picket Fence Studios (affiliate link) finished off the card together with a couple of stripes of red card stock.

Here is a side-on view so you can see the layers better. You can also I used red card stock for the card base.

Happy 30th

This is the other of the two cards I made for my sister’s birthday this year. I decided it was time to try a full panel shaker card. I’ve seen a few others make these recently so I played around a little bit to see if I could work it out. I think it turned out alright and it’s such a fun card to give away!

The background is made with distress oxide inks and then I used a background stamp from MFT Stamps on the top part of the background in a slightly darker turquoise colour. I used various sequins and blings for the shaker area and then I added a sentiment and a coloured Tiddly Inks image on top.

A Tiddly wedding card

If there’s one thing I’ve not made many of this year it’s wedding cards! So when someone asked if I could make one I simply had to find time to squeeze it in. I got a few guidelines, but mostly I could do what I felt like so this is what I came up with using one of my favourite wedding stamps. It’s by Tiddly Inks. I’ve used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, Maja Design paper, my favourite lace and ribbon along with some white acrylic paint.

Colouring video – Molly Celebrates

It is time for another colouring video. I have coloured up a stamp by Tiddly Inks called Molly Celebrates. This one was meant to have audio, but when the PC broke after I’d lost my voice for over a week, I kind of just gave up, so I decided that in order for this to be up anytime soon, I’ll do it without the audio.

This video shows how to do red wavey hair that has a lot of little details, as well as how you can easily draw a pattern onto a dress or other things. As this is a digital stamp you can easily colour it up in the size you prefer.

Tiddly Molly celebrates

It is the first Tuesday of the month and that means we have a new challenge at Tiddly Inks. This time we’re playing tic tac toe. I’ve done both diagonal lines and the top row, so dies – stamp – ribbon, dies – patterened paper – lace and lace – stamp – embossing. My card is made using the Tiddly Inks stamp Molly Celebrates. I’ve used paper from Maja Design, dies from MFT Stamps and LLLC as well as my favourite lace and some ribbon I had laying around.
