Hello there! I’m Liz, in my thirties and Norwegian. In August 2011, after a longer stay in England, I had a random impulse to try to create cards so I bought my first copics and first few tools. It turns out card making is great fun and I now have a massive load of stash for it! Previously, all I had done crafting wise was a little bit of knitting and cross-stitching.
This blog was primarily made as a way for me to track my progress and easily have access to photos of what I have made. For each year I make overview pages and try to keep them updated every month or so. There you can see all the cards I’ve made each year.
Whenever I said yes to a Design Team the first few years of crafting, life decided to get so busy I barely had time to craft. However, it was all too tempting when I was offered a spot on a couple of DTs in 2015 and since then I’ve been on one or more DTs. I think it is important to have both time and motivation for a DT, and I like to make sure I can commit to it properly! After all, it should be fun. The past year I’ve had a lot more space to do my crafting in (and recently even more space, yey!), and the motivation has been great since! I love watching everybody else’s creations and pick up inspiration wherever I can, and hope some inspiration can be found here, too.
Should you have any questions, either post them directly to the post the question relates to, or contact me through my Facebook, or Instagram, page. I read every single comment and will make sure I answer every question within a day or two (apart from when I am on holiday without much internet access). If you’d like see if I have time to design for you, just ask. I love to try new things and also have the sense to say no if the timing isn’t right for me.
Previous design teams: Paper Playtime, The Hobby House (2014), Art by Mi Ran’s Facebook DT (2015 – 2016), La-La Land Crafts (February 2018 – May 2019), Huldra Design Studio (August 2018 – June 2019). I have also done a couple of guest DT cards for Paper Nests Dolls (2017 – 2018), Your Next Stamp (May 2019) and other companies.
