Tiddly Inks Spring Blog Hop

There is a blog hop! Woo! If you’re super quick you can even be apart of the hop! For the first two hours, from now until midnight CET you can add your card to the InLinkz on the Tiddly Inks blog. You will find all the details HERE on the Tiddly Inks blog. There you will find all the other links to the sites that are taking part in the hop, too. It’s being done a little bit different than usual, but now all the links are available in one place so you don’t have to click around the various sites.

And what can you win?
– Two random blogger participant winners will be announced April 29 and highlighted on my blog. Each will receive a $10 gift voucher.
– Two random commenters will be selected from amongst the blogs to receive a $5 gift voucher.

Now for my card. I’ve used the new adorable Little Wishes together with the Just for You background stamp from La-La Land Crafts and a chipboard from Make It Crafty.

CMN blog hop

It’s blog hop time! Copic Marker Norge is celebrating its sixth birthday this month and we’re having a blog hop to celebrate. Each DT blog will have a small prize that can be shipped world-wide, but the main prize on the CMN will only be shipped domestically. Still very much worth while for everybody to comment on the DT blogs! The prize on my blog will be a small goodie-bag of my favourite “stash” that I have yet to put together, hence no photo of it! I went with a Tiddly Inks image for my card. This time I actually made the background first, with two different copic refills, and then coloured the image to match. It wasn’t easy getting the right shade of red for it though, but I got there in the end with many layers of colour. I decided to go with a dark hair colour to really set the contrast with the background. The image is cut out by hand and layered over a white strip with the sentiment I made to match.

CMN 5 years – blog hop

One of the events we are hosting to celebrate Copic Marker Norge‘s 5th birthday is a blog hop. There will be prizes randomly drawn from those who follow the requirements listed below. Once the blog hop is closed I will also draw a random winner among the comments I have received. They will receive a small goody bag. I might update this post once I return from my holiday next weekend with a photo of the goody bag, and if I don’t have time I’ll add a photo when the winner is announced shortly afterwards. This also leaves me room to throw in a few more things!

The prizes for the main blog hop are as follows:

  • A Copic Marker Storage bag (without markers).
  • 3 digi stamps of your choice from Art By Miran.
  • An e-book of colouring tutorials of your choice from Make it Crafty.
  • 2 digi stamps from Wee Stamps

My card has been made using a lovely stamp by Ching-Chou Kuik. I am quite pleased with how all that hair turned out this time! WOC and LLC flowers with some Noor Design butterflies and ribbon from a local shop make up most of the embellishments. The small transparent pearl things are from a local shop and I love them – I think I’ll throw a few into the goody bag, in fact.

Jackie’s birthday blog hop!

So, as you may already know, it was Jackie’s birthday yesterday and we’re doing a blog hop! This is the second day out of three which we secretly organised for our DT leader Jackie. SURPRISE!! Hehehe

Happy birthday Jackie! I hope yesterday was a wonderful celebration for you!

For the hop, all team members created a birthday card for Jackie. As usual I am one of the last ones to make my card, so I tried to choose an image no one else had used, which is quite hard when so many have made their cards already! I used Mi Ran’s Lady Penelope for my card.

The hair was lots of fun to colour and I am so pleased how it turned out! I’ve coloured it all in with copics and used liquid pearls for the dotted effect around the image. I’ve used lace by Live and Love Crafts as well as May Arts. The dies are Noor Design and the flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment I made myself.
