An apple a day…

Today I have another inspirational post up on Copic Marker Norge. This time I’ve used the super cute Apple from Mo’s Digital Pencil. It is a while since I coloured her up, so it was about time I turned it into a card. It took a while to pick out the papers to go with as I’d decided to not do a CAS card this time and I wanted it to have somewhat of a country feel to it. Grey-brown, purple and red are not really colours I would just pick to make a card of, but I gave it a go and I’m very pleased with how it turned out.

The papers are by Lemoncraft and Lili of the Valley, and the sentiment is by MFT Stamps.

Close-up of the colouring:

Copics used: (skin) E00, E02, E04, E13, E15, (hair) E08, E18, E19, E49, E97, (brown) E70, E71, E74, E77, E79, (stool) E42, E43, E44, E47, (purple) V01, V04, V06, V09, (green) YR01, YR13, YR67, (apples) R22, R24, R39, R89

Bowl of sweets

Some co-workers requested a card a couple of months ago (yes, I am that far behind on posting cards here now..) for another co-worker. It was to be pink and sweet and lovely. This is what I came up with.

I have used a pre-coloured toppers from Lili of the Valley; from one of their gorgeous coloured pads. Most of the other products are from Wild Orchid Crafts, Martha Stewart and Papermania.

Country pleasures

Oh my! I made it through again! My entry was together with twelve others chosen to go through to the 4th round in the summer challenges at Copic Marker Norge. I am proud to have made it this far. I wouldn’t have dared dreaming of it when I saw the entries in the first of the challenges. Yet here I am and I plan to make the most of it!

Summer, sea and shells.

Today’s card was made with inspiration of summer, sea and shells.  I spotted a jar of shells in a shop while just have a looking randomly as I was waiting for somebody. A few days later I was able to put them to good use and have made more cards using shells since, which I hope to post soon. As I haven’t got a sea-side inspired stamp, I went with a country themed one instead for this card.

Country bliss

Mother’s day is coming up, or so I’ve heard. Our mother’s day was a month ago so it’s already been and gone. I’ve seen a lot of challenges with a mother’s day theme, so I thought I would enter. Conveniently, mom’s birthday was last week, and of course she had to have a card! I wanted to make her something different and decided on a country themed card with red. Red was a must for this card. Here is what I came up with:
