4. Shabby floral card

It’s been a while since I had a card without colouring on it, so let’s have one of those today! I have printed out the number and name and used those as the focal points on the card.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the ribbon I purchased when I bought a dress a while back and the lace is from Live and Love Crafts.

Let us have another photo. Here you can see the flowers and ribbon from the side.

Star Dancer

A new challenge up on Copic Marker Norge for this month, with the theme of Anything Goes.

I have coloured up an image by Aurora Wings, it’s called Star Dancer and is full of little fiddly things to colour. It was quite fun, actually! I used my trusted copics for this and added some distress ink around the edge and some frantage. Oh, and of course, a touch of glitter to a couple of parts of the outfit.

The flowers are mostly from Wild Orchid Crafts. I’ve got some bits and bobs from the now sadly closed down Live and Love Crafts. Various dies from Memory Box, Noor Design and QuicKutz.

Another photo won’t hurt.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E11, (hair) E08, E18, E19, E49, E97, (outfit) G40, G82, G94, G99, YG03 and a white pen.

Time for an imageless card

It has been a long time since I posted a card with a pre-coloured image, but it has been even longer since I posted one without an image on it at all. In fact, I don’t remember when that even was. That means I am due to post one, I am sure!!

Here is a card I made for my aunt’s 50th birthday. One of the blogs I admire is by Klaudia and her posts inspired me to make this card. Check out the totally awesome stuff on her blog.

I roughed up the paper, which is solid purple card and Maja Design, to give it a shabby feel. All the butterflies and leaves are made using Noor Design dies. The numbers are using QuicKutz dies whereas all the flowers are by Wild Orchid Craft apart from the berry looking ones which are from Live and Love Crafts. LLC is also the place where I purchased the lace.

Guess what! Guess what! Guess what!!

Yup! I made it! I am now officially a Tiddly Inker! I am so happy to be a part of their team until the end of the year and I cannot wait to make more with their images. They are just too cute! Here is my first post as a member of the Tiddly Inks Design Team.

It is Fabby Friday over at the challenge blog. That means we are showcasing some of the adorable Tiddly Inks images! There is also a challenge currently themed School Rules. Check it out! Anyway, I’ve decided to use Wedding Bells for my card this Friday.

It is coloured in with copics. I used papers from Pion, lace and berry looking flowers from Live and Love Crafts, Noor Design butterfly dies and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

It’s been a while since I posted anything again. Work still takes up quite a lot of time, but lately I have spent a lot more time on crafting as well. Soon I will get more added here as well. I must have made about 30 cards so far this month. It’s a bit therapeutic and it’s nice to be properly back into it.

This card was made on request by a co-worker. She picked a card I’ve posted on the blog previously and said she wanted something similar, but slightly bigger and purple was a must. You can see the card she picked out on the right here. This is what I came up with.

I have used a pre-coloured topper fromThe Hobby House. The purple paper is Papermania. There are a lot of Wild Orchid Crafts products used as well: all the flowers, the purple ribbon and bow, and the heart shaped doily. The lace is purchased at Bikuben, and the punchers are by Martha Stewart.
