For mum

I have a Mother’s Day card to share with you today. I’ve used one of Neat and Tangled‘s awesome stamp sets, some chipboard and enamel dots. I embossed a sentiment onto a piece of black cardstock and opted for a kraft cardstock base for the card.

Elephant birthday

On Tuesday, a friend and I decided that we were going to attempt the new MFT Stamps sketch challenge, no matter what it was, when the new one was out. That was yesterday. My card came along pretty nicely. I used some stamps I coloured up a while back and kept the same colour scheme for the rest of the card, using blue, turquoise and lime green Distress Oxide inks. I cut out the coloured panels using dies from MFT Stamps and the stamps are also from them as well, the Happy Hippos and Adorable Elephants sets. I finished the card off with a Norwegian sentiment, which means happy birthday, by Mathia Design (Hobbykunst) and a few enamel dots from Altenew.

This card has been entered into the following challenge:

Whimsy Elephant

Time for another Whimsy Stamps project. This adorable stamp is called Well Rounded Elephant and was part of the February release. I decided it would look cute on a layered card with out too many embellishments, so I went with floral patterned paper and kept it all flowery and happy.

I’ve used my N copics to colour up the elephant

LotV little baby elephant

I love this stamp. That’s definitely no secret at all. I love using it on baby cards. Mostly clean and simple ones, but sometimes layered ones, too. Today I’m going to show you a clean and simple one that I made recently. I used a patterned paper by Lawn Fawn, a chipboard from Make it Crafty and made a sentiment strip to go with. And that’s it. The card didn’t need anything else. The adorable stamp is by Lili of the Valley, of course.

More distress fun

Here is the second card I made with the elephant and hippo sets from MFT Stamps for the course I’ll be having in a week and a half in Oslo. I went for blues and greens this time to contrast the pinks of the other card.

Here is a photo of both of them together:
