Nurse, another word for hero

A co-worker recently quit to start her life as a nurse in another part of the country. I simply had to have this stamp set from MFT Stamps for her good-bye card. Colouring white on white is always a challenge, and I wanted to do it in no-lines. I tried the fade-out ink from Inkon3 again, and it’s perfect.

Gamer boy (konfirmasjon)

Today I have a card for the current challenge over at Copic Marker Norge. The theme we have to work with this month is male cards so I made one for a confirmation using Mo’s Digital Pencil stamp.

Magnolia ballerina

It’s been a while since I made a card with my magnolia stamps, so I thought I’d make one. Opted for a green and purple combination.

And the Copic colours I used? I honestly don’t remember, but it looks like it could be my usual skin colours, the E70-series for the hair, the V10-series for the purple, the C for the white and I’m sure there were various YGs for the green.

LotV Sunny Thoughts

Guess what?! I’ve gotten a spot on the Lili of the Valley design team! In December they had a DT call and even though it was a terrible time for me to sign up for a new DT I simply had to apply. LotV is one of the first stamp companies I bought and I have loads of their rubber stamps from a few years back. My card making sort of started with these and I’ve continued to use their stamps since, so yeah, it was a big deal for me! And they were super kind and let me start a bit later due to everything that was going to happen at the start of the year.

The first card I’m going to show you as a DT is a card I made for a card swap they were hosting. I used one of the stamps from their newest release. You can find it both on a A5 rubber stamp sheet as well as a digital stamp. The sentiment is also LotV.

I’ve used a La-La Land Crafts heart die, heart and frame chipboard I’ve had forever, some Maja Design paper and various ribbon, lace and cheese cloth.

Copics used: (watering can) N0, N1, N3, N5, (flowers) RV52, RV55, RV09, Y19, V15, V17, (bear) E41, E42, E43, (grass and leaves) G03, G28, YG61, YG63, YG97, G21, G82, G40

LLLC: Good vibes

I am back again making stuff for La-La Land Crafts after a short maternity leave! Today LLLC is having a new release and it’s a pretty cool one! The stamps are different to before and there are filler words that can be used with loads of old and new dies and other text stamps. I do love being able to mix and match! Personally I love the new dies! The doily is so pretty and the ovals are in very good sizes. A great and versatile release really! You can find the whole new release here and I will be back with more projects over the next few days.
