Book fairy

I was asked to make a confirmation card for a girly girl who likes books, cats and plays the piano. This stamp from Ching-Chou Kuik was the first one that came to mind and I think it’s pretty perfect. It’s a bit fiddly to colour up all the details, but I think it went alright.

For decorations I’ve used dies from La-La Land Crafts, Papirdesign and a Martha Steward puncher together with an old book page, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Live and Love Crafts as well as my favourite lace, a darker semi-transparent ribbon and a metal note charm hanging on twine. The papers are from Maja Design.

Wee Sweety

I had card on order recently that was quite specific in its request. It was to be pale blue, using a specific stamp and loads of embellishments, ideally loads of butterflies. The stamp is by Wee Stamps/Whimsy Stamps.

I’ve used dies from Joy Craft, MFT Stamps, Precious Marieke, La-La Land Crafts and Rayher. The stamp I’ve used on the edge of the coloured image is by Joy Craft as well and the leaves are made with a Martha Stewart puncher. The papers are by Maja Design and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Live and Love Crafts.

LotV baby girl

Does it seem like I’ve made a lot of baby cards as of late? Well, I have! And I still haven’t shared them all on here, so you’ll be seeing a few more. As usual it is the Lili of the Valley images that I love most for these cards, so that is what I’ve used here too. This card was also made on request. It was to be cute, pink and reasonably simple.

I’ve used paper from MFT Stamps, dies from La-La Land Crafts and Linda Mønstre Design as well as chipboard from Make it Crafty.

Copics used: N0, N1, N3, R81, R83, R85, Y11, Y13, Y08

Winter shaker as my final LLLC DT project

At the start of last year I made my very first La-La Land Crafts card. Now, 81 projects later, I’ve decided to step down off the design team as my time isn’t quite as predictable as before and it’s more difficult to commit to another half a year. It’s been fun to challenge myself with all the different themes and releases along the way. Thank you so much for having me as a part of your team!

For my final project, the theme is shaker card. I’ve decided to go with a clean and simple winter/Christmas card, if a shaker card can even be deemed as CAS… The white main background on the card is embossed using the snowflakes stencil to give it a bit of a texture.

Here is a photo of the card laying flat and the beads are all over the shaker area.
