Clean and simple cards are so much fun! I think I am making like two CAS for every layered one atm. Today I am showing one I made for the Paper Nest Dolls, using the stamp Goth Ellie.

I used some candi in the top right corner, and kept them white for a change. I printed a sentiment right onto the card base and then used paper from Paper Cellar. Lastly I cut out the stamp by hand, put her upper body on foam tape to make her stand off the card a little, while keeping her feet firmly on the ground at the bottom where I drew on some shadow.

Letters to the North Pole, take two.

I was asked to make a card with, Letters to the North Pole, by Paper Nests Dolls. A Hochanda exclusive with sentiment for showing on TV. The program will be on today. I made two, though. Just to show that you can make two matching cards where one is plain and other fancier using the same stamp, sentiment, and even colours.

I’ve used papers from Noor Design and kept this card simple. I quite like plain, simple, Christmas cards.

Letters to the North Pole

Two months until Christmas. Today. We celebrate on the 24th in Norway. I bet that will go just as fast as the rest of the year has and it will be Christmas in no time at all. Thankfully I’ve already started making Christmas cards this year!

On this card I am showcasing a Hochanda exclusive stamp with sentiment by Paper Nests Dolls, called Letters to the North Pole. The program will be on the 27th this month. My card is going to be on TV, woo! I’ve made two cards using this cute stamp and I will add the other card here on the blog on the 27th. They have been made to match each other.

I’ve used papers from Noor Design, Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and ribbon. I’ve painted the edges with acrylic paint to give the card an even colder feeling, and distressed the edges on the white paper first so the paint would be more visible.

Paper Nests Dolls coffee time on TV

Apparently my card made it on TV! The lovely Christine asked if I could make her a card for when her Paper Nests Dolls were going to be a TV and of course I had to say yes to that! The stamp I got to use for this is Avery with Coffee.

The papers are by Lili of the Valley, the flowers by The Hobby House and Wild Orchid Crafts. The dies are by Spellbinders and Memory Box.

Here is how the card looks inside with the sentiment that comes with the doll. Isn’t it a lovely sentiment?
