LLLC: Be unique

Here is my final project for the new La-La Land Crafts release, and my favourite! I’ve made a long card and had a lot of fun doing so. The stamp set is called Be Unique so that’s what I was aiming for! I’ve coloured up several things here: the clear stamp unicorn, the rubber stamp castle and the rainbow die. I will definitely be making more of these long cards, I love how it turned out! You can see the entire new release here.

A little rainbow to start the year

Happy New Year everyone! I decided to kick start the year with some rainbow colours! There is a new challenge up at Tiddly Inks and the theme is a nice and easy Anything Goes. I’ve used the stamp For The Birds. Also, Christy has updated the Tiddly Inks main blog and it looks fab!

Copics used: R22, R24, R29, R39, E07, E97, Y13, Y38, YG13, YG63, YG67, B32, B34, B37, V12, V15, V17, RV17, RV52, RV55, W0, W3, B60, E70, E71, E74, E77

Smile – happy birthday!

There were three different categories for the MFT Stamps Superstar contest. The third one, which is where I am entering this card is called Innovation Master.

I have made half the card as a rainbow coloured shaker area. I’ve used a bunch of different Distress Oxide inks for the rainbow coloured background and flicked some water onto it with my fingers to get some texture. Then I used the big smile die and cut out the center. I did this on three layers in total (where I cut out the center part on the bottom two) and layered them up with some beads in four different colours to get some of the rainbow effect inside as well.

The stamps I’ve used are from three different stamp sets: Adorable Elephants, Magical Dragons and Birthday Chicks.

Here you can see the card laying down flat and the beads are all over.

And a photo from the side, because why not!

Oh and what copics I used? I don’t really remember.. sorry!

This card has been entered into the following challenge:

Caithlin with present

Clean and simple really is a favourite of mine, so I thought I’d show you the card I made yesterday. Again it is inspired by Elin. I used a Mo’s Digital Pencil stamp and I have a small cluster of things in the corner. That is so Elin, right?

The adorable image is called Caitlin. Mo’s having a retirement sale and that is one of the stamps I picked up! I’ve coloured it in with copics and added some liquid pearls all around. The text sentiment is by MFT Stamps and I used small bits of washi tape. The paper is by Lawn Fawn and I LOVE it!

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, (hair) BV23, BV25, BV29, (dress) R81, R83, R85, R39, (bag) G21, G40, G82, YG67, (paper and floor) BV00, BV02, BV04, B60, (background) Y000, Y11, (tag) W1, W3

LLLC: Funky Squares

Ok, I admit it, I’ve used my favourite colours a lot for this NEW RELEASE at La-La Land Crafts. Soooo, it is time to bring in the other colours, I think. How about… a rainbow?!

Here I have used both of the stencils that were included in the set at the same time. I simply used some masking tape to tape them onto the card base so they wouldn’t move around too much. I then used various different distress ink colours going from a red and all through the rainbow over to purple.

To make Summer Dress Molli match (with what I think is a super cool background!) I gave her a two-tone dress going from purple to yellow highlights. To keep with the funky squares theme I used the fishing net die as well. And to add a bit more of the purple and yellow, I decided to make the banners in those colours in bright shades.
