RAM space rocket

Do you ever pick something out of your comfort zone to colour up just for a bit of a challenge and fun? This is a bit off what I normally colour, but I thought this was cool so I wanted to give it a go! The Rachelle Anne Miller stamp is called Space Rocket.

I kept the card simple by framing it in a colour similar to the turquoise I used on the space rocket. A few chipboard stars coloured yellow and a simple sentiment is all I added to it.

Also, did you know she has a sale going at the moment? Buy two stamps, get one free using the code BOGOSTAMPS. The offer ends on Friday.

Copics used: BG72, BG75, BG78, Y11, Y13, Y17, Y19, W0, W1, W3, W5, W7, W9, BV23, BV25, YR20, YR23, E34, N0, N1, E00, E02, E13, E15 + sakura gelly roll.

A couple of bookmarks

I have so many cards and projects to get done, so I escaped all of it by making myself a bookmark as I have no idea where the other ones are and this book I’m reading deserves a proper bookmark. I had quite a few stamps I coloured up while I had my demo at Hobbykunst, and they are perfect for bookmarks! I sent a quick text to closest family and then ended up making eleven bookmarks, so far… Here are the first two I made. The dies and stamps are all by MFT Stamps. The die set I used for the actual bookmarks is part of what I chose for my Superstar win and I absolutely love it!

This one is mine. I surprised myself by keeping the colours soft, and of course I had to have a hedgehog on it!

I so love this space stamp set. Isn’t it the cutest?!

Unfortunately I will not be listing the colours for these stamps, but to give you a general idea: the grey and black in the space one is all N markers and the brown and skin colour on the hedgehog are E70s and V90s.

Space fun

I spent the weekend at Hobbykunst Norge colouring up various My Favorite Things Stamps. I got to meet some great people interested in both the colouring and the stamps and I got a few stamps coloured up to add to my already rather large pile of coloured images! One of the stamp sets I coloured up was the astronaut and space themed set. And between my colouring sessions on Saturday and Sunday I managed to make it into a card, too. I decided to go with the MFT sketch of the week so I could enter it into their challenge.

The paper is by Studio Light and the rhinestone stars are by Rayher. You can obviously find all the products at Hobbykunst.

Here is a photo of the card laying down flat as well, and a little more close up.

My favorite astronaut

I had a little bit of time to craft over Easter, so I even had time to make a card by just playing around after I decided I wanted to enter the current sketch challenge at MFT Stamps. I figured it was time for me to finally use the astronaut stamp set that I’ve had for some time so with that in mind I started to play around with a bunch of my distress oxides. It was a lot of fun to make and I really like how it turned out! Here is the result:
