Colouring video: MFT Mice Day to celebrate

There is a new colouring video up on my YouTube channel today and this time I’ve used my Prismacolor pencils to colour up this mouse and cupcake stamp from MFT Stamps called Mice Day to Celebrate. You can see how I’ve coloured up the entire stamp. As usual I’ve used kraft cardstock to colour on. You can see the finished card below, it’ll get its own post as well.

Once again the video is without audio.

Colouring video: LotV Grace Love

I have a new colouring video up on my YouTube channel today where I have coloured up one of the new Lili of the Valley stamps that is released today. It is a new line, Grace, and the stamp is called Love. You can find the stamp here. As these are digital stamps you can resize them (do make sure it’s proportional, though) to whichever size you fancy. For a limited time they are also available to pre-order as clear stamps. For the video I’ve used the the pencil sketch version of the stamp and printed it in faint lines to get a no-line effect.

There is no audio for this and as it’s pretty quick to colour it up, the video is only 10 minutes long, which is edited down and sped up a little from the 17 minutes it took me to colour her up.

If you’d rather view the video directly on You Tube, please click here.

I have not made the card with this image yet, but I plan to have it done and posted up on the blog next week.

Copics used: (skin) E00, E02, E13, E15, (hair) E21, E23, E25, E27, (dress) YR00, R12, YR02, R22, (heart) R32, R35, R37, R39 and a cool grey coloured Copic multiliner in size 0.1

Colouring video (pencils) Penguin Candy Cane

It is time for my first colouring video using pencils. It is nothing fancy and I don’t feel ready to talk you guys through it yet, as I still haven’t coloured up loads of images using pencils, but you can watch me colour and hopefully pick up a trick or two along the way. You can watch as I colour up this entire image by Whimsy Stamps called Penguin Candy Cane (digital stamp). It is also available as a rubber stamp here.

I have used the digital stamp version and printed it out on Bazzill cardstock in the colour Kraft. And as you can see in the video I’m not exactly crazy about sharpening my pencils constantly. I think it works well enough like this and it means I can keep my pencils for longer.

Colouring Video: Whimsy Jayden Farm Break

I have a new video for you today. Whimsy Stamps was hosting a virtual retreat on Facebook as their actual retreat had to be cancelled because of the current situation and that’s what this video was made for. There were plenty of games, freebies and videos available. You can see my colouring video below. The stamp is called Jayden Farm Break is now available to purchase at Whimsy Stamps.

In this video I will be colouring up all the elements from the girl to the fields in the background. I had planned to do an audio with it, but it’s been one of those days where nothing goes to plan, so in the end I just gave up! I do plan to have an audio for my next video though!
