5. CAS Winter Wryn

Day 5 holds my inspiration card for the newest Tiddly Inks challenge. It is called Be Merry. We would love to see loads of fabulous entries over the next few weeks!

I used the Winter Wryn image for this. The stamp also comes with a snowman, but I decided to keep it simple for this one. The paper is  from Papirdesign, the text stamp from Norsk Stempelblad, and I have used black embossing glitter and black glitter paper. I’ve also made embossed snowflakes on the white part of the card, but it was near impossible to get them to show in the photo!

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, (hair) E41, E42, E43, E44, (red) R22. R24, R27, R89, (grey) W0, W2

Blue Santa-Wryn with reindeer

It’s the middle of the month so we are ready for a new challenge at Copic Marker Norge. This time it is one of my favourite themes: blue Christmas! You have until middle of January to enter.

I have made a plain card this time around. I like my Christmas cards to be reasonably plain this year as you might have figured out already! The image is by Tiddly Inks, and is one of my favourite images for Christmas cards. It is called Reindeer Games. I’ve coloured it in with copics, but not the usual combinations. Both the blues and the colours I used for the hair are new copics I hadn’t used before. I like them!

The background is made with a snowy background paper to which I added white embossed snowflakes. I added the same snowflakes around the card using blue glitter embossing which I also used on the text stamp, which, by the way, is by Norsk Stempelblad and means “Santa hug”.

And another photo, because why not!

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E21, (hair) E71, E74, E77, (reindeer) E41, E43, E44, E47, C3, C5, (outfit) B32, B34, B37, B99, C3, C5, (bells) Y19, YR18, (ground) C3, C5 + white pen

White winter Wryn

Another Tiddly Inks Christmas card from me today. I used Winter Wryn again, and I am sticking to the same kind of theme I did when I last shared a card using this image. (You can have a look here if you’d like.) I went for a red outfit this time and a whiter card. It seemed like the perfect card to share today as I got featured for my other card over at Copic in the Craft Room. What an honour! I am so chuffed!

The dies are from Noor Design and Tim Holtz and everything is, as always, coloured in with Copics.

Winter Wryn

Tuesday is Tiddly Inks Challenge day! That means today we have a new challenge up! I absolutely love winter and Christmas cards, so obviously I am loving the new Holly Jolly theme! Ideally the colour scheme should be green and gold, but I am useless in adding gold to my cards so I chose my favourite: blue! I chose the awesome Winter Wryn for my project. There are lots of great winter and Christmas ones to choose from in the Tiddly Inks shop, so it was hard to pick! Good thing I need to make lots of Christmas cards, eh? heh.

Lots of dies are from Noor Design, including the reindeer and santa one that I recently won in a candy. Yes! I won! I didn’t believe it at all, heh. I love it though. It is perfect to make the card christmassy. The border snowflake die is from Tim Holtz, and as I said, the rest of them are Noor Design ones which I jazzed up either by layering them, using fancy papers, or adding snow and dots! The paper is Papirdesign and Pion.

Kraft and more cake

Time for a new Tiddly Inks Challenge and the theme is Let’s Get Krafty: meaning using this brown paper I have used on my card. I was very unsure of what this challenge meant as I was not very familiar with Kraft and I decided the best way for me to follow the theme was to do a CAS card!

I have used one of my favourite Tiddly Inks stamps: Eat More Cake. It is super adorable and has the perfect name, don’t you think?! I coloured it in with copics, cut it using scissors (which I very rarely do) and used foam stickers to lift her off the craft paper a little. I then wrote a sentiment around the edge of the card and drew in some more little bits for fun!
