Penguin with snowball

Time for another Christmas card, and once again it’s a rather blue one! I’ve used distress oxide on a background stamp from Simon Says Stamp together with dies from MFT Stamps (frame) and Papirdesign (sentiment). The stamp, by Whimsy Stamps, is coloured up with Copics and a few blue sequins finished off the look.

Make a wish

Time for another card with pencil colouring! I actually coloured this one up as one of my first pencil colourings back in May last year and it’s taken until now for it to make its way onto a card. The stamp is from Purple Onion Designs and I use Prismacolor Premier pencils.

The card itself is simple. I’ve cut the panel a little narrow to fit a stripe of coloured cardstock down the side. I’ve drawn in a border around the edges of the coloured panel as well. The sentiment is a combination of a stamp from MFT Stamps and one of their dies which I’ve cut short so it only says “wish”. I had the perfect amount of light blue enamel dots from Altenew left, so they got to hang out around the sentiment as well.

Hi you

I’ve had fun with another card! I’ve used a Pinkfresh stencil with Distress Oxide and Altenew ink on a Simon Says Stamp background stamp. The yellow background paper is by Law Fawn, word and letter dies by MFT Stamps and a dragon stamp by Mama Elephant. I do love mixing brands to get the look I want. Hopefully I’ll have time to make more cards like this. It was so much fun!

Polkadoodles Feeding the birds

Today marks the day for my final post on the Polkadoodles DT. The card I’ve made is a Christmas card as a reminder that it’s a good idea to make them all year around so that when December comes around again you don’t have to spend lots of time that you don’t really have to make more cards than you thought you needed. At least that’s how my Decembers tend to be. Too many cards to make and not enough time!

The stamp I have used is called Feeding the Birds and is a digital stamp. I’ve positioned it to the very side of the panel made sure it was big enough to get all the details to show properly.

The card itself is super easy. I’ve taken a matching piece of scrap paper I had laying around and made a border at the top, which was added with foam tape for dimension. The same goes for the sentiment. A handful of matching sequins around the text finished off the card.

Happy birthday bear in present

I’ve used Beary Special Birthday from MFT Stamps for this card. If you’d like to see how I colour up this kind of stamp, please see this video.

The background is made with distress oxide ink with a stamp by Simon Says Stamp inked with Altenew on top. The numbers and embossed text is by MFT Stamps and the stars are chipboards I’ve coloured up in a matching colour.

Copics used for the bow: B21, B24, B26, B39
