Hippo birthday (og nytt kurs)

It is time for me to prepare for my second cardmaking course in Oslo, and for that I’ve used a card I made in 2018 as inspiration. I absolutely love this effect from distress oxides combined with the adorable stamps from MFT Stamps. It was so much fun doing the first one and I’m looking forward to the next already.

Copics used: W0, W1, W3, W5, C0, C1, C3, C5, RV00, RV02, RV04, RV06, RV09, RV10, RV63, RV66, RV69, RV91, RV93.

Merry Christmas to you all

Today, the 24th, is the day we celebrate Christmas here. It was my turn on the Copic Marker Norge calendar today, for the final day, and I felt it had to be something quite special. I’m really good at putting pressure on myself, haha. Soooo, I took 3 of Mo’s Digital Stamps images and merged them together for a really simple card. I coloured it all up in traditional colours and kept the card as simple as can be.

And with this card I’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Santa’s even been by this morning, and I got my white Christmas after all. Yey!

Colouring video – Molly Celebrates

It is time for another colouring video. I have coloured up a stamp by Tiddly Inks called Molly Celebrates. This one was meant to have audio, but when the PC broke after I’d lost my voice for over a week, I kind of just gave up, so I decided that in order for this to be up anytime soon, I’ll do it without the audio.

This video shows how to do red wavey hair that has a lot of little details, as well as how you can easily draw a pattern onto a dress or other things. As this is a digital stamp you can easily colour it up in the size you prefer.

And the card I made using this image? It looks like this and you can find its blog post here.

Colouring video: LotV Stargazing

I have another colouring video for you today. This time I’ve done a pretty quick one. I wanted to show that it’s not that important to stay within the lines or colour up carefully to get a good result. Scribbling can be a great way to do a sky, for example, and how you can quickly get a snowy effect on your image. By colouring up the image and giving it a background, you have a pretty quick and easy clean and simple card if you do it in a bigger size, and a great image for the centre of the card if you do it a bit smaller. Digital stamps are great that way. I will post the card up in a couple of days.

There is no audio for this video.
