White winter Wryn

Another Tiddly Inks Christmas card from me today. I used Winter Wryn again, and I am sticking to the same kind of theme I did when I last shared a card using this image. (You can have a look here if you’d like.) I went for a red outfit this time and a whiter card. It seemed like the perfect card to share today as I got featured for my other card over at Copic in the Craft Room. What an honour! I am so chuffed!

The dies are from Noor Design and Tim Holtz and everything is, as always, coloured in with Copics.

Elephant magic

I made a Christmas card this morning and thought I’d, once again, get it added straight away. I have used a pre-coloured topper by Wild Rose Studio this time. I jazzed it up with putting glitter on top of the swirly magic, as well as adding some silver liquid pearls for an added snow effect. The flowers, purple ribbon and bows as well as the big purple pearls are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The dark purple paper is from Kaboks, and the light purple paper used for the dies is by Lili of the Valley. The ribbon and pearly lace strip is from a local shop.ย  I have used various dies from Noor! design for the snowflake border and two stand alone snowflakes. They are such pretty dies!

I have decided to enter this is the design team call at Noor! design, so this bit here will be for that purpose. I am Liz and thirty-something living in Norway and I’ve been crafting since summer 2011, mostly making cards. When it comes to crafting, I mostly use my blog, but also I belong to various Facebook crafting groups and use instagram occasionally, though mostly for scenery photos I admit! Although I am on Twitter, I don’t use it very much. I have previous been on the DT team for a challenge blog, and for The Hobby House. Normally I don’t really try to apply for any design teams, but this one just felt right to apply for. One of the reasons is that I have been very pleased with swift and wonderful service provided by Noor! design, and the other is obviously that I love their designs. I mean, who wouldn’t?! I will be using these dies all the time and would love to show my work to fellow Noor! design fans. As I am not on any other DTs I would have the time required to dedicate to this one. I use both pre-coloured images and stamps I colour myself for my cards.

Here is a close up of theย  Noor! design dies I used on this card:

I have used the following Noor! design products: Ice Crystal no.1, Ice Crystal no. 3 and Ice Crystal border.

This card has been entered into the following challenges:

Thank you so much for the honour of chosing my card for top 3!

When I was making this card, I was just having fun with dies and punches really. I have used a Martha Stewart puncher to make the bottom purple flowery shape, a couple of QuicKutz dies and a doily from Papermania to layer it up. The other smaller dies are also by Martha Stewart. The friendship recipe stamp is from Lili of the Valley and the image is by Wee Stamps by Sylvia Zet which I have coloured in with copics. I purchased the pearls at a local shop and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

It has been ages since I entered anything in challenges, so it’s about time, I reckon! This card has been entered into the following challenge:

Crafty Little Fairies – Cute and Cuddly

Lilac birthday fairy

Yesterday I went shopping with the intention of getting just a couple of bits. You would think by now I would realise it does not quite work that way… Once again I bought much more than I need. There are so many gorgeous papers and a lot of them made their way home with me. I also got a ton of inspiration looking at some of the cards on display in the shop. It is a shame I have to work all evening, as I think I could easily sit and make cards all day today. It is so nice getting the exams finished for the summer! This post is for the first card I made after getting the craft stuff back out.
