LLLC: Summer Dress Molli

So, I bet you know all about the NEW RELEASE at La-La Land Crafts by now! I’m going to show you quite a few more projects I’ve made today and tomorrow, also.

First up today is another shaker card. This time I’ve used tiny glass pearls in the shaker area, and kept it small. Summer Dress Molli has been coloured in with no-lines technique and copics as usual and I’ve used loads of the new dies from this release. You’ll find a list of everything at the bottom of the post, and of course direct links to the products!

As most my cards yesterday were blue, I decided to go with teal, green and yellow as the combination for this. I’m not sure I’ve ever used that combination previously, but I really do like it! The paper I’ve used is by Poppydesign, and I’ve used a sail boat charm which I added on thin rope.

LLLC: Seas the Day

For this NEW RELEASE at La-La Land Crafts there are two new background stamps. As you might already know, I really loved the ones from the last release, and guess what, I love these, too! They are pretty great and I love the effect you can from matching colours, or even just using a single coloured card stock where you just clear emboss it on. Loads of possibilities and I’ll be using them a lot!

For this card I’ve used two of the coordinating stamps that come with this background stamp: one of the boats and one of the sentiments. I’ve coloured the boat in with copics and then used my distress inks to make the sky and sea.

LLLC: Pretty Diamonds

The NEW RELEASE at La-La Land Crafts has stencils! And not just any stencils… they come in pairs, so you can use both together or one at a time! How cool is that?!

I’ve used a lighter blue on one of the stencils, then lined the the other over the top and used a darker blue. I think it’s a pretty cool stencil, and you can use one of them several times or use them together as you like. Great way to get multiple colours also! Aaaand they can be used for embossing as well. Unfortunately I don’t have any samples of that myself as I have misplaced my rubber mat somewhere… or it’s hiding.. I’m not sure!

The card is pretty simple. I do like my CAS cards! The life preserver die was cut out in white and then I coloured it in. I think it adds a nice splash of colour on the mostly blue and white card.

LLLC: Sassy Mermaid Molli

There is a NEW RELEASE at La-La Land Crafts TODAY! Wooo! It has a maritime theme and contains 2 background stamps, 3 clear stamp sets, 9 rubber stamps and 3 stencil sets. Yup, you read that right! There are more background and clear stamps AND there are stencils! I have tried them all and they are great! Really great!

What is a new release without a shaker card?

As you might have seen, I seem to colour up more no-lines than not with LLLC stamps, so of course it is another one of those! This time it is a mermaid and she was quite fun to colour up. If you want to colour up the tail like I have, then you can just use the technique I showed in the sparkly dress video here. It works for this as well!

For the background I have used both the big background stamp as well as the two sets of smaller fish. I’ve also used the smaller fish on the background inside the shaker area (made them with clear embossing powder), but it is a bit hard to see as I have layed the card down so you can see all the pretty sequins!

LLLC: Make a Splash

Guess what!!?

It’s RELEASE DAY at La-La Land Crafts! Wooo! It has a maritime theme and it is great! Honest!

I’ve decided to try something new again. I wanted part of the front of the card to be transparent, so that you can see through it and then the inside is filled with loads of stuff. I’ve used the background stamp and heat embossed on some clear powder. I think it looks pretty cool!

All the stamps have been coloured up with the no-lines technique for this card, to remove the hard lines.

Here you can see the card at a slight angle so you can see how the front part is mostly transparent with all the sea creatures on the inside.
