Colouring video: Poinsettias and Pomegranates

I have a new colouring video for you today where I have used the Power Poppy stamp Poinsettia and Pomegranates. This is available in both clear stamp and digital stamp on their website. Coincidentally it’s actually on a sale right now when I’m posting this up. The focus here is primarily on colouring using red as well as how to get dimension on the layers by adding shadows.

There is no audio for this video, but I am really hoping to get that added on the next one again! Anyway, here is the video:

If you’d like to view it directly on YouTube, click here.

This is how the card I made with this image looks:

Copics used in this video: (green) YG13, YG17, G94, G99, (red) R22, R24, R27, R89, E79, (brown) E74, E79, (yellow) Y35, Y38, YR07, + Sakura Gelly Roll 10

Poinsettia and pomegranates

November. Wasn’t it just May? I really can’t keep up this year, but apparently it’s time release that Christmas is less than two months away. This month we’re having the theme Christmas for our Copic Marker Norge challenge. I’ve decided to colour up the Poinsettia and Pomegranates stamp from Power Poppy that I coloured up two years ago. I went with even richer and deeper reds this time and kept the card really quite simple.

Copics used: (red) R22, R24, R27, R89, E79, (green) YG13, YG17, G94, G99, (brown) E74, E79, (yellow) Y32, Y38, YR07

Pink Azalea

Another clean and simple card from me today. This time I’ve made a card using one of the flower stamps from Power Poppy. I had a bit of a accident with my copics right at the end when colouring it up, a big massive near-black coloured blob. I managed to fix it, mostly, and then I fussy cut the image. The background it something I made using one of the pink distress oxide inks and a heart stencil, and the text stamp is by Huldra Designstudio.

Copics used: (pink) RV52, RV55, RV17, R39, R89, (green) YG01, YG13, YG63, YG67, (brown) E21, E25, E29 + white pen

Colouring tutorial: Countryside Bouquet, Power Poppy

Hello everyone! I finally have a new colouring video to share with you. I filmed this a few months ago, but then life happened and with my voice being partially gone the past month (almost) it’s taken a while for me to get the editing done. So first off I’d like to apologise for my voice not being great, but I got a bit fed up waiting for the cough to go completely and having my voice back to normal.

I have used a stamp by Power Poppy called Countryside Bouquet. You can find it in both digital and clear stamp versions.

If you would rather watch the video on You Tube, here.

If you’d like to see the card I made with this colouring, you can find that here.

Copics used: (green) YG13, YG67, (yellow) Y11, Y13, Y19, Y38, (red) R22, R24, R27, R89, (orange) Y19, Y38, YR18, E08, (blue) V000, B91, B93, B97, (centre of flowers) E08, E97 (grey) W3, W7,

Countryside bouquet

It’s been a while since I shared a proper clean and simple card. Here I’ve coloured in an image, put it on purple card stock, added a few pearls and a sentiment. I do like them like this. The image I’ve used is from Power Poppy, Countryside Bouquet, and I’ve listed all the colours I used at the bottom of the post. This card has been made for the current moodboard challenge over at the Copic Marker Norge blog.

Copics used: (green) YG13, YG67, (yellow) Y11, Y13, Y19, Y38, (red) R22, R24, R27, R89, (orange) Y19, Y38, YR18, E08, (blue) V000, B91, B93, B97, (centre of flowers) E08, E97 (grey) W3, W7, (background) W0, W1, Y000, V000
