Winter hugs

It is time for some mid-way inspiration at Copic Marker Norge and this is my contribution. We are trying something new for our challenges: playing with moodboards! Winter and chill and forest and snow is how I interpreted the moodboard.

I decided on a Ching-Chou Kuik image which I coloured in with Copics. The papers are Maja Design and I think they are my all time favourites. I love them!

Another photo from a different angle where it is easier to see the layers.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E21, (hair) E41, E42, E44, E47, (trees) YG61, YG63, YG67, G99, (hat) E70, E71, E74, E77, E79, E20, E22

Hello there, butterfly

I went out yesterday and purchased me another Magnolia stamp, or… a few, actually! I know what I am like with rubber stamps, though, so I quickly stamped up a few of them to have them at hand before I forget all about even buying them… Before I started on the image I had decided I wanted to do one with loads of layers, and pink. Because I haven’t done pink in a while!

As usual I’ve coloured it in with Copics, the pink candi is also coloured with Copics. I’ve used a bunch of Maja Design papers, cut out the text sentiment, used a Tim Holtz charm, some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and a bit of white acrylic paint and frantage. I had to cut out the image by hand as I’d managed to stamp it up so terribly it couldn’t stay with its background, haha.

Let’s take a closer look of the girl. It was a bit fiddly to cut it out by hand!

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E21, (hair) E41, E42, E43, E44, (white) W0, W1, W3, W5, (pink) RV00, R81, R83, R85

8. Friendship

Another colouringless card today for day eight. The main focal point of the card is a text stamp from Papirdesign that I was so lucky to win on Elin‘s blog. It is a lovely text about friendship.

I have used various papers, I think they may be Pion this time, to which I have added white acrylic paint. I really do love that effect. The lace I got at Live and Love Craft, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and The Hobby House and I have used dies from Memory Box and Precious Marieke.

4. Shabby floral card

It’s been a while since I had a card without colouring on it, so let’s have one of those today! I have printed out the number and name and used those as the focal points on the card.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the ribbon I purchased when I bought a dress a while back and the lace is from Live and Love Crafts.

Let us have another photo. Here you can see the flowers and ribbon from the side.
