Lotv Snow james

Did you see the video I added the other day? Where I coloured up this adorable little bear? If you didn’t, you can find it here.

Today I’m going to show you the card I made with said colouring, James in the Snow by Lili of the Valley. I used Maja Design background paper for a nice rich green panel and then cut the coloured panel into a smaller rectangle which was added off-centre with foam tape. A few snowflake chipboards and two die cut sentiments glued on top of each other was all I needed to finish off the look on this card. The die cut is from Papirdesign.

You will also find several other cards featuring the very same image on previous blog posts through the years. I have used it loads!

Colouring video: Lotv James in the Snow

It’s been a slow month on the blog. Life has taken over and I’ve hardly even looked at my cardmaking things and only coloured up one image the whole month. I do however have a new colouring video for you today, to hopefully mark my return into crafting again. It’s a long overdue video, really, as it features one of my absolute favourite stamps: James in the Snow by Lili of the Valley. I make more than one Christmas card with this image every single year and this year will be no exception.

I’ve coloured in a bit of snow and a purple hued background. The stamp itself has been coloured in a quick and simple way to show that it doesn’t have to be at all fancy to look pretty good. There is no audio for this video either, sorry.

If you’d rather view the video directly on YouTube, please click here.

The colours used for this video are: (brown) E41, E42, E43, E44 (green) YG63, YG67, G94, G99 (purple) V000, V20, V22, V25 (white) W0, W1, W3 (pink) RV63 (snow) B000, V000, V20 + sakura gelly roll 10

LotV Elbow Grease

There is a new release available at Lili of the Valley today and it consists of vintage boy images. I’ve coloured up this super cute one with the boy polishing a car. It is called Elbow Grease. I’ve barely coloured this month so it was fun to get the markers out again and I’m quite happy with how the car, in particular, turned out. This time I’ve opted for a Norwegian sentiment and it basically says “happy birthday”.

Coluring Video: LOTV Flying High

I have another quick video for you. This time I’ve coloured up Lili of the Valley digital stamp called Flying High.

Once again there’s no audio. If you very much prefer audio, let me know and I’ll try to add it more frequently.

If you prefer to watch the video directly on YouTube, click here.

Below you can see two cards I’ve made with the stamp. The colours used in the video are listed at the bottom.

LotV Igloo Friends

Time for a new Lili of the Valley card, and I’ve made a Christmas one! I’ve used a stamp called Igloo Bears. I cut out the panel with a stitched frame die and added various cuts of different matching paper scraps I had laying around in a cluster at the top. A bit of twine with a sentiment on added the final touch. The sentiment is also from Lili of the Valley and you can find it here.
