Another baby card

The current challenge at the Hobby House is still Anything Goes! It is always so much fun to see all the various creations people come up with for this type of challenge. The challenge will run until the end of the month so there is still plenty of time to enter!

For this chard I have used a pre-coloured topper by The Hobby House. I have also used pearls, ribbon and the rose from The Hobby House. The flower puncher is bought at Panduro, the branches puncher is by Martha Stewart and I’ve used Spellbinder dies. The patterened paper is from Papermania.

New month, new challenge! Time does fly, doesn’t it? February already. I know I said I’d post some photos from my trip to Senegal, but I haven’t even had time to look through them properly yet. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I’ll be back on top of everything… Anyway, challenge!

The Hobby House Challenge this month is Anything goes!

I have made this card with paper from Papermania, dies from spellbinder and punches from Panduro and Martha Stewart. I have used the following Hobby House products: pre-coloured topper, roses, ribbon and pearls.

Newborn

Although we mostly have beautiful sunny day with colourful leaves everywhere, it is getting colder and the other day we had the first few flurries. It makes me look forward to my holiday even more. Sunshine, sand and sea. Yes, I am definitely ready for a couple of weeks of summer! From mid-November I will certainly get back into crafting a bit more though, because I potentially start off the new year with another exciting trip abroad. Some people say turning 30 is horrible, but I think this is turning into my best year yet. I’m loving it.

The card I’m sharing today is made with Pion Design paper. It is the same sheet that I have used both the front and back of. I had a request for a baby card, but it was to not use the traditional colours, so I chose green. I framed it with a soft green and used cream coloured ribbon, bows and pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts. The pre-coloured image is from The Hobby House. It is a Mo Manning image this one. They are so easy to use and great if you haven’t got a lot of time to sit and colour stuff in yourself. The flowers used are all from Wild Orchid Crafts as well, and the ribbon with hearts on is purchased at Bikuben.

Monday again. Time for a new challenge at Paper Playtime! This time the challenge is to use two or more ribbons. (Twine etc. is also ok!)

I was asked to make a card for a coworker, for a christening. I decided on this super cute MoManning image, which I coloured in with copics. If there are any shades you’d like to know the code for, just the question in a comment and I’ll let you know. For the edges I used a Martha Stewart puncher. Another Martha Stewart puncher was used on the leaves behind the flowers. All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Twins

Another day, another card! This card was also requested by a work colleague (for another work colleague) a couple of months ago. I just didn’t want to post it until I was certain she had received it, just in case.

The lace ribbon I have used for the bow was bought in a local shop (probably..) quite a while back. Sadly I have not been able to get a hold of it since, so that was the last I had left of it. I am gutted as I love how pretty those bows are. As she was expecting twins, one boy and one girl, I felt a bit stuck of what to do as the main image and colours as I knew it was going to be a girl and a boy. Then I remembered this adorable stamp and ordered it immediately from Lili of the Valley. It is perfect!

It has been coloured in with copics. Although it is a couple of months since I did it, I can still have a stab at guessing the colours: R81, R83, R85, Y00, Y04, Y09, R22, R24, R27, B000, B00, E50, E51, E53, C1 and C3. The papers are from Bildmålarna and all the lovely flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon with hearts and the little dummys are purchased at Bikuben. It was a lot of fun trying to balance the soft blues and soft pinks.
