LLLC: Sand, Surf and Sun

Friday again! That means it’s time for another theme. This time I am the one hosting the theme at the La-La Land Crafts blog as well and we’re all making projects with Sand, Surf and Sun. You can find a list of all the La-La Land Crafts products I’ve used at the bottom of the post, along with a list of Copic Markers I used to colour up the sand castle and the wee shark inside that you can see in the next photo.

Here is the side on view. As you can see I added the water ripples background to the bottom, with a shark as well to match the sentiment on the front.

Stamps:
Make a Splash

A fun wedding card

I’ve popped by the Copic Marker Norge blog today with a wedding card, so I figured I should add it to my own blog as well, so I don’t forget! I’ve used various Maja Design papers, and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts primarily. The lace and pearl string and berry flowers are all from a shop that is now closed down. And the stamp? That is by Mo’s Digital Pencil.

Here is a close-up of the colouring.

Copics used: W0, W1, W3, W5, W7, W9, BV23, BV25, BV29, RV52, RV55, E55, E57, E59, C1, C3, C5

LLLC: Jaws Because CAS

This week I got to see loads of cards by the super talented Elin! She’s a master at clean and simple cards and I thought it is about time I make a card that is properly inspired by her. It was about time I made another clean and simple card anyway!

So, a cluster in a corner, loads of open space (although with waves and not white). I even used blue card stock for the base instead of white!

We’re still showing off the new La-La Land Crafts release. I decided to go with one of my favourites, the whale from the Jaws Because clear stamp set. The background is also made with one of the new stamps, the Seas the Day background stamp, which I used Memento Ink on in the Summer Sky colour.

Here is a photo straight from the front of the card.

And a photo of it laying down, with a close-up of the colouring and the cluster.

James Bear with Snowman

Here is my second Christmas card for May. As the first one was a CAS card, I’ve made this one a layered one. I guess I should get started on my Christmas cards for June soon!

I’ve used another Lili of the Valley stamp for this. The papers are mostly Maja Design and the chipboard is from Make it Crafty.

Copics used: (background) B32, (black) W5, W7, W9, (white) C0, C1, C3, (bear) E41, E42, E43, E44, (red) R22, R24, R27, R59, (green) YG61, YG63, YG67

LLLC: My Anchor

I’ve also made a card where I have used only the stamps provided with the My Anchor background stamp set from the NEW RELEASE at La-La Land Crafts. The big background stamp has been stamped with embossing ink onto light blue card stock and then I’ve used clear embossing powder on it. I have then stamped on the smaller fish with two different shades of blue before stamping the anchor onto the card base also and coloured it in with a few copics.

The embossed borders and the card base have been separated by the ropes die, and I’ve added some pink fish dies for a bit of contrast. The sentiment is also from this background stamp set.
