Another fairly large stamp from the most recent Picket Fence Studios release is the Flower Shoppe stamp. I opted for a dark coloured shop to make the pink and yellow flowers pop. I opted for two different shades of brown for the wood work and the pots, and then the same greens throughout. It was a fun project to colour up, for sure!
The embossed sentiment is from the same stamp set, and, to make sure you won’t miss it, I put it on bright pink card stock. A few sequins from the Bunny Honey sequin mix finished off the look this time.
Apparently it’s that time of year again. The time when MFT Stamps are having their annual contest. So I spent some time masking and colouring and squinting trying to see where to colour the various bits. Here it is, my entry for the colouring part of the Superstar contest.
I have used five different stamp sets to make this. The girl, the cupcake stand and the biggest present is from the Sweet Birthday Wishes stamp set, the 3 smaller presents and the balloons are from Beary Special Birthday, the banner is from Up in the Air, the birds are from the Happy Hippos set and the clouds are from Scene Builder.
I’ve used one of the STAX rectangles for the panel itself, the cardstock is After Midnight and the embossed sentiment is off the Bitty Bears set.
Some stamps set you just have to have. This is one of those for me. It’s by Clearly Besotted and it’s adorable! The dinosaur plushie stamps actually got me trying masking properly for the first time. I opted for a bit of random colours and on the background I decided to do a jagged edge. I quite like how that turned out so I’ll have to do it again. The sentiment is part of the stamp set and then I used some MFT cardstock and Altenew enamel dots to finish off the card.
Here is the second card I made with the elephant and hippo sets from MFT Stamps for the course I’ll be having in a week and a half in Oslo. I went for blues and greens this time to contrast the pinks of the other card.
I am having so much fun with colours lately and with the new La-La Land Crafts release I’ve gotten to really play around with some bold and bright colours and I’m loving it!
The image I’ve coloured up is Autumn Marci and I went with one of my favourite hair colour combinations!
I have listed all the stamps and dies I’ve used below, both old and new. And of course there is a list of colours I used to colour up Marci!
