28. Poinsettia, clean and simple

It is my turn for another inspirational post on Copic Marker Norge today and as we rarely have any projects with coloured flowers I decided it was time for just that. I made two projects using the same image. I will show off one of these on my blog today. The other one will appear in two days, on the 30th. If you’d like to sneak a look of the other project just pop over to CMN to see them both at once today.

I’ve used this super pretty poinsettia from Power Poppy. It was a lot of fun colouring it up. I’ve decided to keep the card super simple with just a couple of stripes of glitter to frame the Maja Design paper I printed Christmas on. The gorgeous chipboard is from Make it Crafty.

Let’s have the funky view as well, because it looks super cool with the chipboard! I coloured the chipboard with the same reds as on the poinsettia, apart from the lightest colour.

Copics used: (red) R22, R24, R27, R59, (green) YG61, YG63, YG67, YG99, (yellow) Y13, Y19, YR16, E08

27. Gingerbread girl on a lollipop card

Time for another lollipop card. I decided to make this one in green with a bit of gold, white and brown. Maja Design and LemonCraft papers with a dash of acrylic paint, some Memory Box snowflakes, distress ink, frantage and card candi. The lovely little chipboard is by Make it Crafty which I coloured with the same YGs as the clothes on the little girl and the cute stamp is by C. C. Designs.

Copics used: (green) YG61, YG63, YG67, YG99, (skin) E000, E00, E04, E21, (brown) E71, E74, E77, E79, (grey/white) C1, C3, (hair and gingerbreadman) E41, E42, E43, E44.

25. Blue Christmas at last

The last couple of projects I made were in my usual Christmas favourite, blue. I even used the same stamp for them both, where I coloured the clothes in the same colours. She got a different hair colour though. The stamp is by C.C. Designs. I found these gorgeous Maja Design papers right before Christmas and they are the perfect colour for the blue I wanted for Christmas.

The usual twine and charm is accomponied by card candi and acrylic paint. I’ve added a lot of distress ink and frantage to the image itself.

Here both projects are side by side. If you’d like more details about the lollipop card you can view that post here as it went up a few days ago.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E21, (hair) E41, E42, E43, E44, (brown) E71, E74, E77, E79, (blue) B91, B93, B95, B97, B99

23. CAS card with Magnolia

It has happened. Not only did I colour up a Magnolia image this month, but I did it twice! As some of you know, I haven’t exactly been eager to colour up any of these, but now that I have I realise it didn’t end up as the complete disaster I had imagined! That is good, right?!

I decided to keep this card very simple. I used some gorgeous Maja Design papers and some glitter paper from Søstrene Grene. Last week my order of chipboard from Make it Crafty finally arrived so I was able to put them on a card for this Christmas. I coloured the word christmas up with the same greens that I used on the girl’s jacket and I think the text looks fantastic! I’m so glad I bought some!

As usual the image was coloured up with Copics and you can find the list of colours below. I cut the image out by freehand and then I drew on the ground around her feet straight onto the card blank as I really quite like how that looks!

Here is a close-up of the girl.

Copics used: E000, E00, E04, E21, R20, (hair) E25, E27, E29, E34, E41, (reds) R22, R24, R27, R59, (greens) YG61, YG63, YG67, G99, (grey) W1, W2, W3, (shoes) E71, E74, E77, E79, (ground effect) W0, W1, W2, W3, W5, W7

22. Santa’s Helpers as a CAS card.

Oh my. Where has the week gone?! Thankfully I am now all done with my crafting before the holidays, but I have some cookies left to make and some presents left to buy so I have managed to save something for last minute this year, too, haha!

I have used Maja Design paper and an adorable Tiddly Inks image, Santa’s Helpers. As I’ve had such few green Christmas cards today, then that was the obvious choice. I’ve made a red glittery embossed greeting with a Norsk Stempelblad stamp.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E21, (hair) E31, E34, E41, (greys) W2, W3, W5, W7, W9, (greens) YG61, YG63, YG67, YG99, (fur) C1, C3, (red) R22, R24, R27, R59, (yellow) Y19, YR16, E08
