The new Lili of the Valley clear stamps were on Create and Craft TV today and they were super popular! Most of them sold out quickly. Thankfully they will soon be added to their online shop as well. It was fun to watch my cards on there when I saw a recording after work!
I’ve used one of the cute peek-a-boo stamps for my card along with the sentiment set. Such fun image to colour up!
We have had such a great winter so far this year. It started snowing right before new years and yesterday it snowed loads! Unfortunately it’s been replaced by rain today. I hope it doesn’t all rain away. White and pretty beats grey and wet any day at this time of year!
So today’s card had to be another winter themed one! I’ve used one of the newer Polkadoodles stamps again. It’s called Frosty Winter Smiles – New Friends. This time I’ve opted for a pink card, and I coloured up the stamp in no-lines again. The main background paper is from the Blushing Blooms paper pad. For decorations I’ve made a cluster with various die cuts using scrap paper I’ve had laying around as well as more from the Blushing Blooms pad. A simple sentiment to kick start the Christmas cards for next winter and some enamel dots finishes off the look.
One of the cards I made in December and never got around to sharing is this one I made with the Mama Elephant Penguin Christmas Tree. Isn’t it fun?
It is another simple card where I’ve used one of MFT’s rectangle dies for the main panel, cut out some Memory Box snowflakes and added a premade sentiment from Simon Says Stamp (the CZ-collection) on foam tape over two of them.
It is time for another good bye now. I’m stepping down from the Whimsy Stamps DT as well. This autumn has simply thrown me off course too much so I want to take a step back and do more “just because” crafting. I will miss being on the team and its great ladies, especially the wonderful DT leader Wendy.
For my final project I’ve used Crissy’s Reindeer in Training. I know it is a bit late for Christmas cards, but I really wanted to use this stamp and this month has been crazy so I’ve been unable to get it done to share it until now. I quite enjoyed trying to draw in a little scene for it as well. It’s good to get a head start on the Christmas cards for next year anyway, I think! The sentiment is from this set.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and I hope you are able to spend some of the time with at least one of your loved ones in this difficult year.
Here I have used the Merry Wishes stamp set by MFT Stamps and coloured in the whole panel with my Copics. The card itself is kept simple, so I stamped a sentiment from the Christmas Cheer (MFT also) set onto the coloured panel and then die cut it with a rectangle STAX frame (MFT) before using foam tape to attach it to the purple card base (MFT as well).
The stamps have been masked together. It can be a bit fiddly, but remember that you only need to cut out the part that is used for the masking. I tend to keep used masks together with the stamp set so I can easily reuse them another time. You can always cut out the rest of the mask another time if you want to use another part of the stamp for masking.
