An apple a day…

Today I have another inspirational post up on Copic Marker Norge. This time I’ve used the super cute Apple from Mo’s Digital Pencil. It is a while since I coloured her up, so it was about time I turned it into a card. It took a while to pick out the papers to go with as I’d decided to not do a CAS card this time and I wanted it to have somewhat of a country feel to it. Grey-brown, purple and red are not really colours I would just pick to make a card of, but I gave it a go and I’m very pleased with how it turned out.

The papers are by Lemoncraft and Lili of the Valley, and the sentiment is by MFT Stamps.

Purple Christmas and teddy bears

Christmas is upon us, or well it’s Boxing Day already! I thought I would show you two more Christmas cards I’ve made this year. I’ve decided to add them both to the same post as they sort of match nicely as both are purple with James bear from Lili of the Valley and sentiments from Papirdesign

And here is the second one.

Copics used: (teddy) E41, E42, E43, E44, (purple) V12, V15, V17, (ground) W0, W1, W3, (grey) C1, C3, (green) YG01, YG13, YG63, YG67, (yellow) Y11, Y13, Y17, Y19

Teddy bear Christmas tree

Another Christmas card from me today, and it is using another Lili of the Valley image. I think this bear is super cute and also fun! I’ve framed it with a red patterned paper from Papirdesign and a sentiment by Huldra Designstudio.

Here is another photo of the card with a close up of the colouring.

Copics used: (bear) E41, E42, E43, (green) YG01, YG13, YG63, YG67, (red) R22, R24, R29, R39, (yellow) Y13, Y19, E97

James Bear with Christmas cracker

It’s been a lot of clean and simple Christmas cards this year, and by a lot I mean that most of them have been CAS! So, I decided it was time for something different and proper traditional colours. It is my turn to show off something in the Christmas Calendar over at Copic Marker Norge today, and this is what I decided to make. It is perfectly reasonable to decided to make something with loads of layers that takes longer than CAS does when you have hardly any time at all, right?

Anyway, I used this adorable stamp from Lili of the Valley. I have a feeling I’ll colour it up again before Christmas, if I can only decide on which colour to use for it! I combined it with lace I got from Live and Love Crafts, Papirdesign paper and sentiment. Then I used some acrylic paint around the edges of the layers and some twine along with a gingerbread charm. And it’s obviously coloured up with Copics as usual. You can find the colours listed at the bottom of this post.

Here is a photo from the side you can see how the card is stood on a surface.

And another photo of the card laying down.

Copics used: (bear) E41, E42, E43, E44, (white) W0, W1, W3, W5, (yellow) Y11, Y13, Y19, Y38, (red) R22, R24, R29, R39, R89

James Bear with Snowman

Here is my second Christmas card for May. As the first one was a CAS card, I’ve made this one a layered one. I guess I should get started on my Christmas cards for June soon!

I’ve used another Lili of the Valley stamp for this. The papers are mostly Maja Design and the chipboard is from Make it Crafty.
