LLLC leopard print top

Embossing is the La-La Land Crafts theme this week, so I’ve used one of the background stamps which I embossed with black glitter. You can see that effect best in the second photo below.

I’ve tried something new again! I decided I wanted a pattern on the top, so I decided to try to make a leopard print. I think it worked out pretty well and I’ll probably do that again. Then I decided to just keep the same colours through the card, with craft card stock, black and white, and a few red butterflies for a pop of colour.

Here is another photo so you can see the glitter in the embossed background on the left.

Afternoon Tea Marci sending love

Did you see the colouring video I did last week? With the sparkly dress? It was with this Afternoon Tea Marci. If you’d like to see the video, then you can go here for the blog post, or here for the video on YouTube.

So yeah, this is what I decided to use the image for! A clean and simple card! About two weeks ago I finally found the embossing folders I’d misplaced when I last moved so of course I had try to them out again. It is a bit hard to see the embossed part in the white, though, I know. I’ve used both die cuts are also from La-La Land Crafts.

It’s been a while since I shared a proper clean and simple card. Here I’ve coloured in an image, put it on purple card stock, added a few pearls and a sentiment. I do like them like this. The image I’ve used is from Power Poppy, Countryside Bouquet, and I’ve listed all the colours I used at the bottom of the post. This card has been made for the current moodboard challenge over at the Copic Marker Norge blog.

Colouring video: Faythe’s Cherry Flowers

It is time for me to share my first proper tutorial. As usual I like to make it difficult for myself, so it’s a video tutorial. When I was colouring up Faythe’s Cherry Flowers (by Tiddly Inks) the other day I decided to film while doing so. This has now been made into a video where you can see how I’ve coloured up the image while I explain what I’m doing.
