Sending smiles tag

It is Monday again so we’re due another La-La Land Crafts post. This time the theme is anything goes so I decided to make a tag! LLLC is having a sale until tomorrow night as well. Check out the info at the bottom of this post.

The adorable teddy bear in the hot air balloon is called Sending Smiles. Isn’t it adorable? I coloured it up with Copics and played around with various combinations of colours which I rarely use together. It is fun to play around with new combination, I think.

I think the tag itself is absolutely gorgeous. What I did was that I cut it out twice and glued the sides together so I’d get the same background front and back. then I cut out some various bits in various colours to make it even more colourful. It was such a fun tag to make and there will be plenty more of those from me for sure!

Stamp:
Sending Smiles (sentiment also from there)

A bit of turquoise

We have a new challenge up at Copic Marker Norge and this is my inspirational card for it. On the moodboard for this month I was inspired by the colours: turquoise and white with a hint of yellow, as well the decorations and flowers. The image I chose for this is by Ching-Chou Kuik. I do love getting to make a card using my favourite colours!

I’ve used papers by Maja Design and Bazzill, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, a stamp from Noor Design to create the effect around the image which I used distress oxide ink on, a Happy Birthday stamp from My Favorite Things, and a border die from La-La Land Crafts.

Here you can see the card from a side on view. There are several elements put on foam pads to create a sense of dimension.

Here is a close-up of the flower arrangement

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E21, (hair) E41, E42, E43, E44, (dress) BG49, BG53, BG78, G40, Y04, Y38, E97, (shadow) W0, W1, W3, W5, W7, (flowers) RV17

Birthday hippo and elephant

Happy Easter everybody. I decided to take some for myself today and make a card. The stamps I’ve used are by My Favorite Things. Aren’t they adorable? they are from the Happy Hippo og Adorable Elephants sets.

The paper I have used is by Papirdesign, the border die is by Pretty Pink Posh and the birthday die is by La-La Land Crafts.

I decided to go with another clean and simple layout. This is definitely a current favourite, as I’m sure you’ve all figured out by now. Other favourites are these darling stamps and the birthday die.

Here is another photo:

Papers with a knitted pattern and blues

Here is another card without any colouring. I made it so it would match the ballerina card I posted about the other day.

Here is a card I made on order. I used loads of papers with kitting on by Papirdesign and some other scraps I had laying around that matched well. I’ve got flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and candi and leaves made with a Martha Stewart puncher.

Here is a close-up of the flowers.

Goth Avery

I was requested to make another card for the Paper Nest Dolls to match the one I made at the start of the year. (You can find it here.) This time I went for soft pastels and pink, but kept the card design similar and the hair colour the same. Once again I made the sentiment myself and printed it straight onto the card base. The paper is by Paper Cellar.

Yup, I know the photo is a bit wonky, but hey!
