LLLC: Unicorn Marci

Here is a card I made for the new La-La Land Crafts release using the rubber stamp Unicorn Marci. Isn’t she adorable? I’ve also coloured up one of the super cute unicorns. I decided to make the card cool rather than pretty and had fun combining the pinks and blues! You can find the entire new release here.

LLLC: Deck the Palms

My third and final card for the most recent La-La Land Crafts release this time around. I’ve used the fun Australian kind of Santa for this one, and I’ve made a pocket for a tag, which could also be used for a gift card. Both the tag and pockets are really great and I will be using those a fair bit, for sure! It’s also fun to make a completely different type of Christmas card, quite far away from the winter themed ones I usually make!

In this second photo I’ve taken out the tag and put it next to the card so you can see it clearly. The pocket could be used for a gift certificate as well, if you prefer.

LLLC: Sassy Mermaid Molli

There is a NEW RELEASE at La-La Land Crafts TODAY! Wooo! It has a maritime theme and contains 2 background stamps, 3 clear stamp sets, 9 rubber stamps and 3 stencil sets. Yup, you read that right! There are more background and clear stamps AND there are stencils! I have tried them all and they are great! Really great!

What is a new release without a shaker card?

As you might have seen, I seem to colour up more no-lines than not with LLLC stamps, so of course it is another one of those! This time it is a mermaid and she was quite fun to colour up. If you want to colour up the tail like I have, then you can just use the technique I showed in the sparkly dress video here. It works for this as well!

For the background I have used both the big background stamp as well as the two sets of smaller fish. I’ve also used the smaller fish on the background inside the shaker area (made them with clear embossing powder), but it is a bit hard to see as I have layed the card down so you can see all the pretty sequins!

LLLC – Hello Lovely and no-lines colouring

La-La Land Crafts is having a new release! Yey! They have these awesome new background stamps out! I’m show casing this project today using the set Hello LovelyΒ and I have used both the background image and the sentiment. I stamped the background image using Distress Oxide. Opted for a clean and simple card.

I coloured the image up with copics (colours at the bottom of the post) and opted to give no-lines another go. It doesn’t happen all too often, I admit, but it was fun. It’s the only way I seem to be happy with colouring blonde hair at the moment. Afterwards I cut it out by hand and glued it onto the card before adding a bit of shadow directly onto the card under her feet.

You will find direct links to all the products I used below the photos.
