30. Pionsettia lollipop card

Two days ago I had an inspirational post up at Copic Marker Norge where I was showing off two cards made with the same image. The first one appeared here on the 28th and the second is due today. This one is a lollipop card. If you click on the image to the right you can view the post where I added the first of these, which was a clean and simple card. Using one image on two completely different cards is quite fun to do actually!

The image for these two cards was the pretty pionsettia by Power Poppy. I’ve used various paper from Papirdesign, Lemoncraft and Maja Design for this one. Some memory box showflakes in red glitter, cheese cloth and white acrylic paint help make up the card.

Copics used: (red) R22, R24, R27, R59, R89, (green) YG00, YG03, YG63, YG67, (yellow) Y13, YR16, E08, (background) E43

Here is a photo of the two next to each other. As you can see, I have also angled the flower a bit different on the two projects.

24. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Merry Christmas everybody! We celebrate here in Norway today, on the 24th of December. After a while of mandatory Christmas programs on the TV we’ll get dressed and head to my parents for Christmas dinner. Yum! Can’t wait!

Today’s post features as a windy Mo Manning image! I’ve decided to keep the card looking cold, but keeping the colours on the image as well. I’ve used Maja Design, Bazzill, Søstrene Grene and Papirdesign paper along with the obligatory dash of acrylic paint! I do love that effect very much! I’ve made a few snowflakes with a Memory Box die, added some Craftworks Cards’ card candi, cheese cloth, twine and Kort og Godt charm. The sentiment is part of the Maja Design papers.

The image has been coloured with Copics, as always. I’ve added some windy white bits over it using embossing and I quite like the effect of it!

Here is a view of the bottom left side of the card so you can easier see some of the details with the charm and how the acrylic paint and embossed snow work on the image.

And the obligatory funky view!

Copics used: (green) YG61, YG63, YG67, G99, (reds) R22, R24, R27, R59, (brown) E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, (sky) B32, 0, (ground) C1, C3, C5, (skin) E000, E00, E04, E21

19. Girl eating gingerbread

I have had fun trying out some new stamp brands this December, as well as revisiting some old ones I haven’t used in quite a while! On this post I’m showing off a card I made for a secret santa swap using something I’ve never tried before, a C. C. Designs stamp! This adorable little girl has just taken a bite out of her gingerbread! Love it!

It’s been coloured up with copics, but I bet you knew that already. I’ve used various papers from Bazzill, Papirdesign, Panduro, Maja Design and Søstrene Grene. There is a bit of cheese cloth, Craftwork Cards’ card candi, acrylic paint, twine and a Kort og Godt charm. The main shape of the card is made with a Go Kreate XXL die and the snowflakes are made with a Memory Box die. I kept the card reasonably simple without a lot of embellishments, just loads of papers! Oh and the sentiment is from a Norsk Stempelblad stamp.

And here is the usual funky angle photo!

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E21, R20 (hair) E71, E74, E77, E79, (outfit) R22, R24, R27, R59, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, C1, C3

13. Christmas tags

Have you ever tried to make your own Christmas tags? These are the first I’ve tried making. Siv kindly made me some tag blanks that I could decorate and I’ve had fun doing it. It is a great way to use left over scrapping papers, that’s for sure.

The dies here are by Noor Design and the text on the red is from Maja Design paper and on the blue is a Norsk Stempelblad stamp. The red flowers are by Papirdesign.

The text die here is by Kaboks.

Here is another photo of all three together

8. Friendship

Another colouringless card today for day eight. The main focal point of the card is a text stamp from Papirdesign that I was so lucky to win on Elin‘s blog. It is a lovely text about friendship.

I have used various papers, I think they may be Pion this time, to which I have added white acrylic paint. I really do love that effect. The lace I got at Live and Love Craft, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and The Hobby House and I have used dies from Memory Box and Precious Marieke.
