White winter Wryn

Another Tiddly Inks Christmas card from me today. I used Winter Wryn again, and I am sticking to the same kind of theme I did when I last shared a card using this image. (You can have a look here if you’d like.) I went for a red outfit this time and a whiter card. It seemed like the perfect card to share today as I got featured for my other card over at Copic in the Craft Room. What an honour! I am so chuffed!

The dies are from Noor Design and Tim Holtz and everything is, as always, coloured in with Copics.

Winter snowman

Christmas is coming up so fast! I haven’t done any Christmas cards today, but this is one I did yesterday! It is for the new Art by Mi Ran Facebook group challenge for December. Our theme is Winter. Yes, it was my idea. I love winter cards so much. Can you tell? Heh. Besides, it was snowing the other day, so I had to make another snowman card!

I used the super cute Hello Mr. Snowman, again. And yes, I did it in blue this time, too… I coloured it all in with copics. And then I went mad adding snow with a white pen. I made trees and the santa with reindeer using Noor Design dies. The paper is also from them. The lace I got at Live and Love Crafts, whereas the snowflake puncher is by Martha Stewart. The snowflakes are sparkling!

Winter Wryn

Tuesday is Tiddly Inks Challenge day! That means today we have a new challenge up! I absolutely love winter and Christmas cards, so obviously I am loving the new Holly Jolly theme! Ideally the colour scheme should be green and gold, but I am useless in adding gold to my cards so I chose my favourite: blue! I chose the awesome Winter Wryn for my project. There are lots of great winter and Christmas ones to choose from in the Tiddly Inks shop, so it was hard to pick! Good thing I need to make lots of Christmas cards, eh? heh.

Lots of dies are from Noor Design, including the reindeer and santa one that I recently won in a candy. Yes! I won! I didn’t believe it at all, heh. I love it though. It is perfect to make the card christmassy. The border snowflake die is from Tim Holtz, and as I said, the rest of them are Noor Design ones which I jazzed up either by layering them, using fancy papers, or adding snow and dots! The paper is Papirdesign and Pion.

Noor Design – Winter Wonderland

Hello Mr. Snowman

My holiday is half way through! What would be more fitting than a card filled with snow, eh? I mean, it couldn’t be further away from the weather atm in Australia. It is time for a new Art by Mi Ran‘s Facebook group’s Anything Goes challenge, with bling as the optional theme. I was going to opt out of the bling part, but I changed my mind at the end. I used Mi Ran‘s gorgeous Hello, Mr. Snowman for this.

As usual I have coloured it in with copics. On the sky background I coloured it in with blue and painted over with white acrylic paint, just for fun! I used the paint around the edges on all of the backgrounds as well.

The dies are by Noor Design and Tim Holtz. I also used a Martha Stewart puncher. A few cones and 5 Wild Orchid Crafts roses with a bit of Live and Love Crafts lace made up most of the rest!

Mister Frosty

Merry Christmas everybody! God jul!

Sadly, we got no snow for Christmas this year. Our Christmas was celebrated last night. It was stormy, rainy day. Still, it was cozy and warm in doors with plenty of traditional films to watch on the TV, a lot of yummy food and cakes and plenty of gifts.

I still had to make a few cards with snowmen and snowflakes on! I have used various Martha Stewart punchers for this card, some pearls and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, a doily from dovecraft and a pre-coloured image from Lili of the Valley. Luckily, I found some background paper that I thought fit the image perfectly. This is one of my favourite cards this Christmas.
