Purple Onion Designs is having a birthday sale (19 years, wow!) this week and I’ve been asked to guest design for it! For today’s card I’ve gone with bolder, darker colours than I usually do, because they make for great cards too!
I have masked together three stamps for the little scene (Tree Line, Dylan, and Jessie) and used the Everyday Blurbs sentiment to go with!
I am very excited to share with you my first card as a Guest Designer for Purple Onion Designs! The first card I want to share with you is made using Up and Away. I have stamped it off centre so you don’t see the whole balloon and slightly at an angle, then I’ve coloured in a little scene. A full slimline card felt a bit too tall, so I’ve kept the width and cut off some of the height. I do like being able to make cards in the size I think fit best for the image!
The sentiment is from the Everyday Blurb set and I am going to be using that set loads. I love the speech bubble effect and that you can easily use whichever ink colour you want!
