Vintage wedding

Today’s post is another wedding card. I still have a handful more that I need to post. It’s been a long week so far and I’m glad it’s nearly weekend, although I doubt it will be any less busy than this week has been and the next will be. Hopefully I have a little more time to fit some crafting in next week though.

This card is primarily made with Pion papers, including the vintage photo. The swirls are die cuts. I have added a ribbon with sparkly hearts under the wedding style lace at the side of the card. The image , parts of the swirls and the wedding type lace are all raised off the card with tiny pads. Underneath is a diagonal floral lace border. The two joined hearts are from Din Fantasi and I believe the pearls are from Kort & Godt. All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. On the finished card I added the name of the bride and groom to a self made paper ribbon at the top of the card, with purple distressed ink.

The floral lace going diagonally is easier to spot inside the card. I had not yet added the greeting bits when I took these photos, so the finished card had cream coloured ovals with printed text.

This card has been entered into the following challenges:
