Blue blue Christmas

So far this year I have made two Christmas cards. This post is for the second one I made.

I love blue. I have a feeling at least half of the Christmas cards I make this year will be predominately blue. The papers for this card are scraps I had left over from making Christmas cards last year. I have yet to buy new ones and hopefully I manage to wait a bit longer as I have a fair bit of stuff left from last year that I should use. I must have gotten a bit carried away!

As I have been in a process of colouring in more different skin and hair colours, I was due colouring in grey hair. It seemed quite appropriate for the winter fairy. The stamp is from Whimsy Stamps and everything is coloured in with copics. I added glitter glue to the wings and added a crackled frosty background with the copic colour B000. The glitter swirls and dots are from a pound shop. The sentiment is home-made and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I thought I had done quite well getting started on the Christmas cards so early. However, I took them with me to work to show and as someone wanted to purchase it, it was gone within 24 hours of its creation. I am so pleased people find my stuff worth paying for, so I will simply have to make more for myself, and perhaps some more to try to sell! Before I get around to that I have some time bandits to fight. I cannot believe July is nearly gone! My holiday is getting nearer every day! Yey!
