A simple, red Christmas

I have a very simple Christmas card to share with you today and it’s red! The stamp is by Magnolia, coloured in with Copics, and the chipboard by Make it Crafty. I’ve hand cut out the stamp and put it on a subtly patterned paper which I’ve framed by red card stock.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, R20 (red) R22, R24, R27, R29, (hair) BV20, BV23, BV25, BV29, (white) W0, W1, W3, (brown) E70, E71, E74, E77, E79, (yellow) Y13, Y19, Y38, (green) YG61, YG63, YG67

Hello Butterfly

I’ve had so much fun making backgrounds with the new background stamps from La-La Land Crafts. For this card I’ve used the one called Just for You. I think it is my favourite! I love how the pattern looks and that I can have it any colour or colour combination I want. I definitely need more background stamps!

Additionally I’ve used a Magnolia stamp which I’ve coloured in with Copic Markers, chipboard from Make It Crafty and sentiment from MFT Stamps and some candi I coloured in a matching colour.

Here is a photo from the side. The sentiment has been put on foam pads and the chipboard is in two layers.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E21, R20, (hair) BV20, BV23, BV25, BV29, (purple) V12, V15, V17, V09, (yellow) Y11, Y13, Y19, Y38, (ground) W1, W3, W5

Purple Christmas Tilda

One of the two Christmas cards I made for March was a simple one and it features Magnolia’s Tilda. I’ve used a La-La Land Crafts christmas die and a border die by Pretty Pink Posh. I do like my cards clean and simple, and I never make enough purple Christmas cards!

Copics used: V09, V12, V15, V17, W1, W3, W5, E70, E71, E74, E77, E000, E00, E02, E04, E13, E15, R20, R22

Bringing gifts in the snow

As I mentioned earlier this month: I managed to complete my two Christmas cards this month. Here is the other one. This one was also completed on the 28th February. Got to love last-minute work, right? I decided to go with another winter themed card as they are my favourites for Christmas.

For this one I used a Magnolia stamp, various Maja Design paper, acrylic paint, candi, Memory Box and QuicKutz (Lifestyle Crafts) dies and cheese cloth.

And the side on view:

Copics used: (blue) B0000, B32, B34, B37, B39, (skin) E000, E00, E04, E21, (brown and hair) E53, E55, E57, E59, (gift) R20, R24, W1, W3, (ground) C1, C3, C5

Magnolia – Christmas gift

I think I might be crazy. For some reason I decided to take part in a mini challenge where I am to make two Christmas cards each month this year. When Christmas finally comes around I guess I’ll have a mini mountain of cards I can send out, though…

At the start of the year I bought a few Magnolia stamps. I have even coloured up a fair few of them already! I decided to use this on one of the cards for January. I kept is really quite simple, with a reasonably plain Noor Design background paper, a Make It Crafty chipboard and a few candi on the side.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E21, R20, (hair) E71, E74, E77, E79, (dress) B32, B34, B37, Y13, Y38, E97, W0, W3, W5, (gift) YG13, YG67
