100th card

Apparently this card here is the 100th I post on this blog, which is a small milestone for me. Little did I know when I first purchased crafting supplies a year ago that I would sit here today writing about my 100th card. It certainly won’t end here. I made sixteen (yes, that’s 1 6) cards at the weekend. It was nice to have the time to do them all.

This card has been made primarily with papers from Pion, including the vintage wedding image. I used an embossing folder on white card and then distressed it with the Tea coloured distress ink. On the right side I added a doily under the image. The tag under the image is a Magnolia one and I have written Best Wishes on it. The ribbons are from a local shop. All the flowers and the pearl circle on the top ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Inside the card I have followed a similar theme. I later added white circles with text inside the red scalloped circles.

This card has been entered into the following challenges:

Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge – #147: Ribbons and bows
My Mum’s Craft Shop – #71: Weddings/Anniversaries
Scrap-a-long – #18: Blomster
