Vintage Christmas

Less than three weeks to go until Christmas, and here I thought I’d just entered November. I think the time gremlins are out there again. It is the only reasonable explanation! Best get this card posted up before they steal even more of my time and I find myself in mid-February…

This time I’ve made a Christmas card with a vintage photo of two children, I seem to recall it being a Pion one. I decided to stick with a dull blue colour as one of the girls in the photo has a pale blue cape and hat. I found some lace I had laying about and bordered it off with a white ribbon and tied a little bow on the side. The vintage image was added on a blue background and foam pads. Cherry blossoms, roses and other flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The inside has been decorated to match the front.

I somehow seem to make the photos of my recent cards look yellowy. Hopefully I figure out what’s causing it soon so that the colours of the cards look less odd!

This card has been entered into the following challenges:

Wild Orchid Crafts – A Child’s Christmas
Divas by Design – #64: Let it snow
