PFS Peter Bunny

For my third release card this month I have used Peter Bunny and friends. He has a cute little pocket watch and I made his hat match the tea cup. Green card stock was used to bring out the spots of green on the image and then I coloured the die cut Hugs (from the Slim line full front shaker die) in yellow to match with up as well. I cut it out several times so that it would stack for some dimension. The stamped text is from the Animal Crackers: You Deserve to be Spoilt stamp set and then the sequins are from the Easter on Parade sequins mix.

PFS Hydrangea

I’ve had so much fun colouring up various Picket Fence Studio (all links are aff. links) stamps lately. Here is one from the latest release, Mophead Hydrangea, where I opted for bold black lines on the stamp itself. The colouring is pretty simple, for a change, with various markers in pinks and lilac to make up the colours of the flowers.

To frame it all in I used bright pink card stock and then made the sentiment with the same paper. I used the Oversized Hello slimline die for this. I cut them out several times and then glued them together for dimension. And to finish it all off I added a few hearts from the Diva Hearts embellishment mix.

Mo’s One

I’ve coloured up this adorable little girl and her massive balloon this week. Mo has the most adorable images for children and this one is just delightful! A little fun colourful cluster for the decorations. This is one of her Patreon images, but there are loads others in her shop here.

PFS Shaker card

Soooo, guess what! I am on the Picket Fence Studios Design Team! After my guest spot in the autumn I was offered a permanent spot and here is my first card as a member of the team. It was a bit difficult to decide on what to show you first, and I’ve actually opted for a card without any colouring. That’s one of the reasons I said yes: to challenge myself to make more different types of cards, and more without colouring. I’m loving it!

I’ve used several of their new products and even matched it together with an older sentiment. For the main part of the card I’ve used the Plumeria Flowers 6×8 stencil (all links are affiliate links) together with two Distress Oxide colours. Then I’ve taken the 2.5″ Connected Circles Shaker Creator die to make the shaker element. I cut out and glued together 7 or 8 layers of card stock to get the height I wanted. This makes creating shaker cards super easy and I will be using them loads! On top of this I used the Hello Slim Line Die Cutting System insert. It fits perfectly! The text sentiment is from the Baby Butterfly Beauties stamp and then I used the matching die cut for it. All the gorgeous shaker elements are from the Hop Embellishment Jar. It even has cute little butterflies in it!
