PFS Peter Bunny

For my third release card this month I have used Peter Bunny and friends. He has a cute little pocket watch and I made his hat match the tea cup. Green card stock was used to bring out the spots of green on the image and then I coloured the die cut Hugs (from the Slim line full front shaker die) in yellow to match with up as well. I cut it out several times so that it would stack for some dimension. The stamped text is from the Animal Crackers: You Deserve to be Spoilt stamp set and then the sequins are from the Easter on Parade sequins mix.

Whimsy Daphne

Time for another Whimsy Stamps inspirational post. For this one I’ve used Daphne from the Wee Stamps collection. It must be one of the first times I’ve actually managed to use an Easter related stamp close to Easter!

It’s been coloured up with Copic Marker as per usual and I’ve made it into a layered card using Maja Design paper, my favorite lace, ribbon from a local shop and dies from MFT Stamps, La-La Land Crafts and Rayher.

A list of what colours I used will be added later today.

Paper Nest chickens

About a month ago Christine of Paper Nest Dolls asked if I’d like to make a card for her. Of course! I’ve seen her cute images around for a while, just never gotten around to colouring any of them. This was the perfect excuse! I picked this adorable image with three little chickens. They’re great, aren’t they! It is called Little Chicks Emma.

The papers and sentiment are by Lili of the Valley, flowers by Wild Orchid Crafts and Live and Love Crafts which is also where I purchased the lace. The image has, as usual, been coloured up with my Copics.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E11, R20, (hair) E41, E43, E44, E47, E49, (chikens) Y000, Y04, Y08, (dress) Rv00, R22, R27, R81, R83, R89, Y000, Y04, Y08, C1, C3, G40, G82, YG03, (grass) YG03, G82, G94, G99, (sky) B0000, B000, B91. And a white gel pen.

Bunny date

Oh holiday, how I needed thee. It’s already a couple of days into the holiday and I am very much enjoying not having a long list of “need-to-dos”. I am however considering purchasing a cutter and some paper and make some cards while on holiday though, heh..

The stamped sentiment caught the flash a bit, but it says “have yourself a very happy birthday” and is from Lili of the Valley. Its ink really isn’t quite as pale as it looks in the photo, heh. As is the pre-coloured image I have used. The colourful buttons are from Craftwork Cards and are called card candy. All the flowers are (as always) from Wild Orchid Crafts and the branches are made with a Martha Stewart puncher.

My easter buddy

Easter is around the corner. I only just realised this when I opened the fridge yesterday and saw the “easter mystery” cartoon on the milk carton. Don’t ask, lol. Anyway, as I have next to no time before I go away for two weeks tomorrow, I had a spur of inspiration and made a card this morning. Why do I always feel most inspired when I have the least time to craft? Maybe it’s because it looks like I won’t get much else done today as I’m feeling rather unwell. Oh well, the card did get done!

I have used a giant scalopped circle to make the base of the card. I’ve used some plain green card stock and some patterned paper from First Edition paper to go with. I have used a pre coloured Sylvia Zet image from The Hobby House. Isn’t it adorable? The stamped sentiment is from Lili of the Valley, the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts, the ribbon is from a local shop and I have used a fair bit of distress ink.

Happy Easter everybody!
