POD Beach Time

For my third card for the Purple Onion Designs latest release I’ve made another beach scene. This time it is a beach scene with the ocean and sunset in the background.

Taylor and Thaddeus are playing in the sand as the sun sets behind the Beach House. They can easily walk up the Boardwalk and over to the stairs when they get called in for bed time. It was fun masking the stamps together and then colouring up the whole scene. I’ve stuck with a rather limited colour palette this time as well. I used an old sentiment from the Everyday Blurbs to go with.

PFS The Best Dirt

Of course I have a full panel colouring for this month’s Picket Fence Studios (all links are aff. links) release as well. They are all stamps from The Best Dirt stamp set, and I have masked them together for a little scene. I’ve stuck with yellow, peach and pink colours for the dresses this time, and then used a card base to match the peach coloured dress. I’ve kept the full width of the coloured panel, but trimmed the top and bottom to stamp the sentiment in the top right corner of the card base.

POD Lifeguard

I have another fun card made with stamps from the most recent Purple Onion Designs release. Brody, the lifeguard, has left his Lifeguard Chair and is carefully watching as Lilo is playing in the water. The waterline is made with the new background stamp.

The coloured panel has been cut narrow to leave for a sentiment being stamped directly onto the card base. The sentiment is from the new sentiment set.

Mo’s Baby Fairy Butterfly

Another day, another card. You could almost say I’m on a roll now that I’ve managed three in a row! Today I’ve used one of the older stamps from Mo’s Digital Pencil, Baby Fairy Butterfly.

I’ve used a text stamp by Mathia Designs to go with and some die cut clouds.

POD Seaside release

I am surfing in today to let you all know it’s that time of the YEAR! Yup, that’s right! Purple Onion Designs is out with their summer release and it is full of summer, water, sand and Stacey Yacula. Can it get any better? I think not! There are so many amazingly cute characters that it took forever to choose what to colour up first.

But I did choose in the end. I chose Kalei, the awesome surfer bunny! I masked the Rip Curl together with the Ocean and Shoreline background stamp (a very clever stamp that can be used two ways).

Also, the Seaside sentiment stamp set is a must have. So many great sentiments! I stamped it in a colour similar to the coloured sky to keep it reasonably neutral.
