PFS Million Little Things

I’ve had fun coloring up one of the new Picket Fence Studios stamps. The lovely flowers are from the Million Little Things stamp set. I opted for soft shades on the flowers to really show how different it can look when you take away those black lines. It also gives the card such a delicate look. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I’ve used a few pretties from the Banana Daquiri sequin mix.

There is a great sale going on, ending tonight (Monday 29th). Have you seen it? 20%, gifts with purchase AND the rainbow coloured Paper Pouncers are back in stock. Does it get any better than that? You can read all about it on their homepage.

Here is another photo of the card:

PFS Heat Embossed Dragonfly

There is an Instagram happening over the weekend and I got to play with some of Wow!’s great embossing powders together with Picket Fence Studios (all links are affiliate links) products. I opted for cutting out the Big Beautiful Dragonfly. I covered it in Wow!’s Embossing Pad and then used the Grape Fizz from the Twinly Fizz Wow! Trio. The original die was cut out in white and this shows just how well the coverage is. I love it!

To make it stand out, I’ve used the A2 Pierced Blanket Cover Plate die and used some darker blue card stock. The sentiment is from the Early Tulips stamp set and it is embossed with Wow!’s Polished Silver. It is super shiny and looks great! I’ve used sequins from the following three mixes: Black Tie Affair, Rainbow and A Classic Christmas.

Sea side fun

Today is Norway’s national day, so I figured a card that reminds me of a trip to the coast, in our flag’s colours, would be suitable.

It is another shaped card made with Mintay papers. Here I’ve used one of the papers as the focal point and added some of the cut-outs around the edge. I’ve pained the edges of the paper with white acrylic paint as usual. The circle dies I used here are from MFT Stamps and I’ve used enamel dots from Altenew to add another pop of red. The cardboard sentiment is by 49 and Market.

POD Pop of colour

Spring is definitely here and both grass and trees are turning green. So how about a card to celebrate just that?

I have used the Woodland background stamp together with Marigold. One of the things I appreciate when it comes to these stamps are the names given to the different animals. I love that they all have their own names! Anyway, they are two of the great stamps over at Purple Onion Designs, both from the Stacey Yacula collection. The sentiment is from the Everyday Blurbs set.

PFS Rum Calling – new release

It is new release day at Picket Fence Studios (this and following links are affiliate links) and oh my is it a fun one! It has loads of fun drink dies to make shaker cards from and so many great sequin mixes! It was difficult to choose which ones to combine for sure! For my release day post I’m going to share my personal favourite of my cards for this release.

I have played with dies and glaze to create this fun and colourful card. I used three different glazes to create the background, Pink Magnolia Luxe, Aztec Sunflowers Luxe and Lime Zinnia. I then glued together loads of cut outs of the Martini Shaker die and used the Peach Bellini embellishment jar inside the shaker. To finish off I used the Make it Dirty stamp and coordinating die set.

Here is another photo, you can see that the glass is raised properly. I cut out several pieces to layer them, eight, I think!

Here is a list of all the products I used:
