PFS Watermelon shaker

Anybody else noticing that this year is hurrying along at an absolutely ridiculous speed? I feel like I blinked and there April was gone. Thankfully thinks are looking to slow down a little in a few weeks and I cannot wait!

Here I’ve made a full size shaker! Not something that frequents this blog a lot, but they are still fun to make. This time I’ve made it using the A2 Full Front Shaker die by Picket Fence Studios together with their Shaker Sheets. I LOVE it! It is so easy to work with, and with their ridiculously large collection of awesome sequin mixes and embellishment jars you’re bound to find some new favourites. This one is called Watermelon Crush.

The background is made using the Watermelon Nectar. I stamped it up a few times and then coloured in aaaaall the watermelon pieces (while potentially having a bowl of cut melon next to me, shhh). The Oversized Hello die worked perfectly with the rest and it is easy to add a small sentiment strip to go with at a later date!

PFS The Bakery (new release)

There is a new release out at Picket Fence Studios (all links are affiliate links) today and it’s a fun one! I’ve used loads of copics to colour up the stamp I chose for my release card. Isn’t this the coolest bakery? A tea pot next to stacking tea cups? I would so love to visit a bakery like that! I’ve mostly stuck with that stamp set for today’s card. The stamp is called The Bakery. The sequins are from the All About the Teals sequin mix.

You can’t really have a dull black stamped sentiment with such a fun card, so I went with purple!

PFS Royal Sweetpeas

I’m back today with another Picket Fence Studios card! I’ve taken quite a break from crafting and social media the past few weeks, because I’ve decided to take on some studies and simply had to try to catch up a bit! I’m starting to get a bit more on track, so hopefully the posts will be more regular again!

Anyway, today’s card features the new Royal Sweetpea stamp. Isn’t it pretty? I wanted to mix things up a little and made a tall slim line card. The sentiment is put down the side of a card, because sometimes it’s fun to do something a bit different. The die cut is half of the Slimline Happy Birthday die set, and I’ve coupled it with parts of one of the stamps from The Flower Shoppe set. To get the text raised from the paper and coloured flowers, I’ve layered the die cut several times. The sequins are from the Peacock Tails sequin mix

Here is a close up of the card.
